Why you should BOYCOTT HERSHEYS!

NOW BEFORE YOU SAY HE DESERVES IT BECAUSE HE BROKE A U.S. LAW I WANT YOU TO THINK ABOUT THE FACT THAT HE IS PRETTY MUCH BROKE BECAUSE ANY PROFIT HE MADE OFF OF THE MEDICAL CANDIES HAVE ALREADY GONE TO LEGAL FEES FOR HIS CRIMINAL COURT HEARING. THIS IS A MAN WHO IS ALREADY GOING TO JAIL IN A FEDERAL PRISON FOR 5 YEARS FOR PROVIDING PATIENTS WITH MEDICAL MARIJUANA CANDY SO THEY DO NOT HAVE TO SUBJECT THEIR LUNGS TO TAR AND CARCINOGENS.

Sirs & Madams,

Our magazine is organizing a boycott of your extensive line of products because of a $100,000 lawsuit against KENNETH AFFOLTER by HERSHEY in regard to his medical marijuana chocolates. Since Mr. Affolter was unjustly sentenced to 5 years in jail for the cannabis chocolates that were going to patients in need, one might think that your corporate interests in the protection of your brand names, which Mr. Affolter used in mocking regard to his products, was upheld. However, you are persuing this man in what our magazine regards as cruel and unnecessary.

Until Hershey Chocolate stops this lawsuit, our magazine is advocating on myspace, youtube, and in our magazine, Cannabis Culture, a boycott of Hershey products.

I would be delighted to hear from you and any discussion which drops this lawsuit. I think it is safe to say that Hershey Chocolate is currently the choiuce of millions of potheads across North America. You enrage them with this lawsuit. They are consumers you should not consider lightly.

Good alternatives = anything from M&M/Mars Candy Co., European (especially German or Swiss) chocolate companies and Nestle but you may want to boycott Nestle for other ethical reasons.

i dont eat Hershey's anyway. except their syrup. if you want me to NOT buy my chocolate syrup for my ice-cream sundaes you must be out of your freakin mind.

Not really though because as of May 23, 2007 Hersheys has been willing to have discussions with Cannabis Culture magazine over this law suit. Its interesting but they are taking this seriously... they got a shit ton of letters and the message reached 60,000 people in less than 18 hours without media coverage. Continue the boycott... its really simple to silently not support a company

and 40 oz.- THERE ARE SO MANY COMPANIES THAT MAKE CHOCOLATE SYRUP, support Kenneth and buy a different type of chocolate syrup.
