Hi, Hope this doesn't come off as being an ad. I have a freelancing gig that I'd love someone here to take instead (before I post it on a freelance job board). I'm looking for someone who can draw simple diagrams and put some simple sewing tutorials together. Main requirements: sewing experience, can draw diagrams, can arrange tutorials in an easy to follow fashion. Pay rate is GOOD, and this can totally be done from your own home. If you're up for it, please PM me and I'll get back to you. Thanks.
What is it that you want to make? I'm good at skirts and dresses, stuff like that; never went into pants. Mainly I decide what I want to make by drawing pictures. Then I go to the mall and look at ideas(ex. types of skirt waists, or tops for dresses) turn them inside out see how they're put together etc. Then home cut and sew!!! Hurrah! Could share the experience I have with you. I've definitely have experience!! HA! From all my mistakes. I sew by ear if there is such a thing. Right now I'm making 5 matching skirts for a kids dancing group. Have to be done by the 21st and haven't started yet! Yikes!! Well, if you don't want my help at least let me know how it's going kay?
so what media is this appearing in? do they want a particular project illustrated, or are the publishers open to porjects? (how quickly do they pay, too?)
