hi people, just wondering would this work... Im growing in my attick/loft (3rd floor) pretty nice temperature i think its probably around 24 degree's C, im growing haze in decent soil but the problem is im only useing a 150w bulb with special reflecting foil around it to keep the light in, so far they are growing beautifully with a lovely smell but they are only about 6 weeks old, can someone tell me if they will grow good enougth to produce some big buds and if anybody knows, roughly how much in £/$ they will produce, i will try and post some pics soon
A 150 watt bulb will yield you next to nothing.One needs to have 50 watts or better of hps per ft to get a plants potential.Your plants will be spindly and low yielding making you little money.

150 watts. Even if you get a maximum of one gram per watt per month.That is only 300 grams. Better count on less than 75 grams every 2 months though, because like mean says, you dont have the wattage per square foot needed to get those results. So if you want 1/4 per week to take to your head-Your setup might do it. You should get another 250 watts at the very least.And intake/outake/cuirculation fans. tiedye
ok, ive just decided im going to buy a 600 watt halagon weed starter kit from this shop so hopefully that should do the trick its only £85
For a cheaper alternative that i found works, head to your local home depot or lowes or equivalent. Head to the security light section. Regent offers 3 nice non-costly alternatives to the high priced HIDs. they offer a 70 watt HPS, a 70 watt MH. or 140watt of either for roughly 50 bucks for the 70 watt and $70 for the 140watt. Just make sure to mount the light and be carefull when wiring.
