There is a gas station near my house with some bushes on side. they just recently put down cow manuer or molch in that area to grow plants. If i steal some of it and put it in a pot, put a seed in it, water it, Would it grow?

Is it just the fertilizer that you'd use or would you mix that in with soil? Well, either way, I'd start growin with just plain soil and I wouldn't add any fertilizer to it until it gets much bigger. Cannabis plants don't like high acidity levels and fertilizer is full of it. So, if I were you, I'd just go pick up some potting soil and use that.

Put the manure in the very bottom of the pot your growing in,
not too much just and inch or two. Fill the rest of the pot with
potting compost. This way the plant roots will eventually reach
the manure when it's at the right height and when it needs it, etc.

go buy some good organic potting soil and some sand. it's cheap. really! and do it because there is no telling what kind of shit is in the dirt at the gas station! You dont' what to consume that!

you mix about 70% soil with about 30% sand. now get some really small pots to put the soil in. mix the potting soil and sand and fill the little pots. and have those ready. keep these watered damp, but not soaked.

now, you take your seeds, a plate and a paper towel to sprout the seeds. what you do is fold the paper towel in half and then fold it again. pour some water on the paper towel (now folded to 1/4 of it's original size) and then place the seeds in the middle of the folded paper towel. keep this in a slightly warm place.

keep the towel wet, but not soggy for several days. within a week or so, if your seeds are any good and you follow these instructions, you will have some sprouts.

poke your finger into the soil about 1/4 inch deep and put a sprout in the hole and cover it firmly, but not too firm. keep this in a warm place, and keep it watered until the sprouts pop out, usually a day or two. make sure they are getting the most natural sunlight they can from beginning to end of the growing cycle. if indoors you need to ask someone else or read a book. the natural sun cycle of growing and diminishing daylight hours are best for the life cycle of the plant.

once they are going well, fertilize with fish emulsion. that is the best! but do not fertilize until they are at least a foot tall. folllow the instructions on the bottle.

sand helps the drainage, and that is important for that plant. it does'nt like to be soaked for long. let it dry out well between waterings, and don't fertilize too often. it generally likes a relatively poor, sandy soil. you can use half sand and half soil if you want. but I find the 70/30 ratio is very good if you let it dry out well in-between watering.

    good luck!

    Ditto.
Thieve's give pot growers a bad name.

Plus the laws of karma mean if you steal from someone, you will have some of your stuff ripped off.
If you grow pot with stuff you and your friends stole, don't be surprized when your plants are ripped because after all you hang around with thieves.

What makes you think that the guy who owns the gas station is "big business"?
Stealing stuff to grow pot reminds me of a craze a few years back where kids were stealing street lights to grow pot (without realizing that they were the wrong voltage and they'd still need a ballast and socket, the bulb was useless).
Having never been taught that stealing is WRONG (or maybe being taught that but ignoring it) they thought is was ok.
After all, is was just stealing from "the man", right?.
Except, street lights must be replaced. Who do you think pays for it?
    Not you, kiddo.
Your parents and me and people who WORK for a living, and feed and cloth you and provide shelter.
I think that when you grow up move out and get A FUCKING JOB and work hard for what you have, and someone steals your stuff, you may have a different opinion.
    Or be in prison.
Stealing from a guy who runs a gas station is NOT a form of anarchy, it's a form of a universal sin. And really stupid if that person gets caught.
Imagine gettting busted for stealing dirt and cow shit hahahaha. Going to jail and having a police record--not good.
Don't take stuff that don't belong to you.
    Want some potting soil?
Get off your ass, mow a lawn, sweep something or whatever and buy a sack of it.
