Around five games of ride the buss, and two dozen or so games of flip cup, and to many cigarettes, and random drinks later.... I'm feeling good. I went outside for cigarette and looked up at the world, and the snow was blowing so hard, and the wind was so cold against my cheek but I didn't care. I just smiled, and inhaled and watched winter settle in.
Alot of people dead winter I tend to enjoy it. My joints hurt alot more in the winter and all but there is a certain peace about it all to me.
Haha, Summer's coming for me! Yay for sun and beaches, gonna be great, exams are over so now it's just work that's dragging me down but I'll live, lawl :]!
thank godd(ess(ess)) it is! i just wish i was living up in the hills just a very few miles to the east of me, where i grew up, where i could actually see, (and freeze my butt of in) a little of it. =^^= .../\...
Winters are terrible. Dirty and cold and having to hang around inside and not being able to do a lot of things. It is totally boring. I want summertime and sun and beaches and hotness and little clothes and flipflops.
I love winter....when its warm inside and you are with people you love and you look outside and its night....and its snowing.....so very romantic.
I'm not a huge fan of the winter. I get frost bite REALLY easy, and Winnipeg is so so so cold, and it never goes away for so long. But I do have this pent up excitment deep down gettingg really excited to be sitting beside my window watchingg the snow come down and just not having to go anywhere. Or watchingg the snow fall under street lights, so pretty! Staying in with friends and getting really creative to stay amused, and knitting warm clothes and drinking hot chocolate and baileys!...I love these things regagrdless of my hate of the winter... nothing is all bad. and I REALLY love how excited people here get in the springg when they can breath again and go outside again, really bringgs people together.
The first snow has fallen. A cold wind from the sea. But the world is still beautiful. I don't like freezing but there is some kind of coosy felling about winter. And I enjoy it. But I long for the spring to come, it's so dark now. But as you said, wastingthedawn, knitting and hot chocolate makes it all easier
I love winter. I've already done 3 days of ski-touring... Missed a day of school because I couldn't leave my hometown. We were getting a foot and a half of powder each day. And I think my girlfriend is getting me a new set of snowshoes for christmas. For which I'm excited.
i only love winter when i can snowboard and go sledding, if i cant do that well then winter is on my negative side then, oh i do love to go driving around pulling ebrakes around corners that are icy thats always fun, but besides thoses things winters bum me out, where im from its been known to get to negative 45 degrees celcius with windsheild so you cant do shit all but stay inside which sucks
I love winter in part because most of my best clothing is geared towards keeping warm while looking good, like my LL Bean down coat, my two leather jackets (one fur-lined, one replica wwii bomber) three ski parkas, and dozens of sweaters I accumulated over several birthdays and Christmases hotwater
Haha. I was pretty trashed when I posted this... Usually I dread winter, but I donno, it seems okay this year.
