Women, I need your help

I had oral surgery on monday, I was given Amoxicillin to take for 7 days. The problem I have is that I'm on the pill, and a total hornball. And, my fiancee is to thick around to fit into condoms, even the "large brands" are very tight and just roll off of him, not to mention they kind of hurt him.

When my pharmacist gave me the pills I told him that I was on the pill and he said that I should be fine as long as I took my pill between doses of the antibotics ( I take the amoxicillin 3 times a day and it's a 500 mg dose) but I could use a back up method.

The past few days havent been a problem because I've been in so much damn pain he hasn't been getting laid. But last night we had sex twice, he pulled out both times WELL before he actually got off, I'm also on the last 2 days of my pill for this pack anyway, so I don't think this is a very fertile time of my cycle.

So my question is will the pull out method be ok for the rest of the antibotics (only on them until monday) or should I look into something else to use as well?

if you are really looking into not getting pregnant, you should look into some other sort of contraceptive.... spermicide or something....

I've been on the pill for 6 years and it hasn't failed me yet. He's not getting off inside me. The pharmacist said I should be ok, and I only have 1 pill left, I don't know that the chances are that high.

I think you will be okay, I would do what scarlett suggested just to be on the safe side..
But you've been on BC for a while so it's not like you just started BC, you will be okay..I wouldn't worry too much about it...

well, it's a bit late to worry about pulling out being effective. lol. (however, i will say i managed to go years without getting pregnant using the pull out method.) some other methods have to be fitted, and some are just plain uncomfortable for people not used to using them.. how about in between your breasts or him rubbing on one of your body parts that turns him on. pulling out can work, but it also can lead to pregnancy, ya just never know.

check your mucus to see if you're fertile. get a little au jus from your vagina, put it between your fingers and separate your fingers. if it *strings* (stays connected and doesn't break) you're fertile.
