I could have gone--lived only 200 miles away-- but didn't. My friends said it was a blast, but a big, rainy, muddy mess.

Oh, well- I made Haight-Ashbury in The Summer of Love--1967. (And, the East and West Villages in 1966-68.

    Burp!

Is that Edinburgh, Scotland? If so, ship me some 20 year-old Scotch whiskey, pronto. And, gratis.

    This is a command!

Well, Dwight-smallfry-- FYI, I left home at the age of 17 and supported myself and lived on my own ever since. What, do you think I had a written permission slip, from my parents to hitch from coast to coast?

Back to Young Hippies with you.

I almost went AWOL to attend Woodstock. I didn't and sat in my jeep with a 106mm waiting to move in if needed. Live and learn.

i wish i could have gone to woodstock so badly, unfortunately, i wasn't around...my mum wan't even ten lol. But did write about it for my English coursework, we had to do an imaginitive piece of wrting and everyone else did a descrition, or a show they went to see, they're favourite holiday and i wanted to do something that would really mean something to me and my teacher liked it, I think i got an A for it...
