i work out everyday, or have been for several months. and once i started smoking again after a break after rehab, i was wondering if its cool to work out while stoned?
i think its ok within reason.. i would not recommend or praise anyone who is doing heavy lifting while high
I don't see any problem with working out while high, but if I work out while I'm high, it kills my buzz, so fuck that shit. lol
I disagree, when I am high and I'm lifting I get a lot more focused for some reason and I complete all of my reps in one go even if I'm power cleaning. I don't like doing it a lot, but when I do its beneficial in a way. Now running high, fuck all that.
usually if you are lifting heavy.. meaning.. needing a spotter.. i would not want to risk injury to others because i was high.. seriously.. you don't need to be high all the time
I like lifting while high. I like lower weights with higher reps though. That's the only excersize I like while high unless it's frisbee or football.
Bike doesn't count. That feels like you flying. Oh yeah and I forgot hiking.... But let's not thread Jack.
Maybe I'm just not an idiot when I'm high but I feel like I've never put my spotter at risk, stoned or sober. Like I said, I don't do it often, but when I do its like I am completely focused.
hahaha, i love it how people thinking a 20 mile ride is a workout... that's a recovery ride... follow me into the berkshires for 120miles... even on a 17lb carbon fiber Look. leave the bud at home, but bring your camelback and some clif bars. i <3 mushrooms and biking too maybe some pot brownies for the last 1/4 of the trip when we're getting lazy.
awwwww... gotta have a road bike, mountain bike, and fixed gear. riding in all conditions. fixed gear for recovery rides. mountain bike for hill climbing. road bike for speed and interval training. its just getting warm enough here to get out for more than hour... im so psyched for this saturday. 20 miles to boston, doing a few hours of slackline, 20 miles back. also, bike love=awesome PS-berkshires=berkshire mountains
hopefully in the next couple months here i will have a road bike.. i want a fixie DJ setup for urban... and i have my Scott for trail riding.. which i also use for all my riding actually
I didn't mean it wasnt a workout. And mountain biking is a lot different than miles of flat land near re coast. Lol
i live in a valley.. so if i wanna ride out of town i have no choice but to bike up hill... actually my town was named one of the top 100 inclines in the US.. Greg Lemond(former 3 time tour winner) used to bike it for training for the Tour.. its like a 9% incline
