Anyone have any experiences with doctors that really stood out? Either stuff that was an awful experience, or one where it was an amazingly positive experience there? Or even in between... just stuff you remember sucking or being great about docs you had.
I went to the doc one time and got prescribed a bottle of Tussionex(120mg of liquid hydrocodone). That was nice. I drank all of it in one sitting and was buzzing for 15+ hours.
a doctor pulled my infected ear twice even tho I told him exactly what was wrong.... I get an ear infection almost every other week in summer. he thought he was slick until I told him if he pulled my ear again I would kill his family. he just shut up.
Lol that's great. I use to get terrible earaches too and I only wish I had those words when they aren't being gentle-er.
The best: getting some results two years ago... I just could not believe how good they were and I expected exactly the opposite... The worst: here comes the dentist Well, I have a great dentist but I had done to myself terrible things that had to be fixed somehow. Looking at what she has done with my teeth is a quite good experience, though
Worst? Going to the obstetrician for a prenatal check up. They were backed up and I had to wait about an hour in the waiting room. Then when I finally got in there, he had a student with him and said he needed to do an internal (bullshit, I was just a guinea pig)...which took longer than usual (like 20 minutes longer than the usual 5) and HURT. I went home crying.
I had been having BAD pains in my hip, so my mom took me to medac, and I had to put on a gown that opened in the back, and of course, I was wearing one of the sexiest thongs I own, and the doctor was probably in his late 60's. Anyways, me made me straddle the table (my moms watchng the whole time) and he stradles behind me. I wouldnt let go of the gown and he wouldnt take a hint, and apparantly thought that I thought he was trying to moleste me. He said "Look, I'm not trying to touch you or hurt you in anyway okay? If you dont believe me, get the damn nurse in here" And my mom goes onto say "Well, its not that, its just shes wearing a thong..." He gets up, leaves the room, and comes back and says "Listen, if yuor going to wear something your ashamed of, dont even wear it at all for God's sake!" he had a point, but it was still NOT the most pleasent doctors experience Ive had...
worst: this past November my ear drum busted and the nurse practitioner at the student health center made it her duty to make my ear feel like complete and utter shit by sticking a q-tip in and trying to get the puss that was closing my ear off out..didn't work and it made me scream.. & the first time going to the gynocologist was another worst experience. the best: when I went to my Ear, Nose & Throat doctor December 15, and he said that the hole from my ear drum rupturing was healed and that I have normal hearing..hell yeah!
worst: when I was about 16 a doc who saw my supersmall penis, called in a female assistant to show der my lack of size!
