Well I am working now for Sony doing tech suppoer on computers.... I make ok money for Buffalo NY and I got real good Health benni's..... I hate it and was just given the offer to go live at this place in the woods.... it is like a hippy hang out neer alfred NY.... WHAT DO I DO? i would be living and eating for free and making $100 a week on top of that... I would be making cabins, outdoor stages, making wind, and my own brewed beer, and learning the ways of this place..... check out the site and tell me if i should..... I would be giving up a lot or would i be ganing?
It sounds like a cool romantic idea, but will the reality be the same? I mean, for starters you never truly know who you are living with. It pays to be paranoid like me! lolol. Sometimes it's best to do things even if you do regret them. I'd go on my gut instinct. What have you got to loose if you do go? Weigh up the pros n cons. Im too much of cleaning freak to live in a commune type place. ( It's not very Hippiesh of me i know! But hey, we all have our lil habbits!) lolol. Try and find someone who lives that kinda lifestyle and see what they say.
it will be a totaly different lifestyle for a career.... I am in ac and diong whit collar stuff//// but it is my hobbies all in one place with some labor too.... but i dont have anything to loos i guess////// i am having such a hard time with this
People will laugh at you if you tell them you only make $100 a week. I'm 15 and I pull in more cash than that.
for that place. hell yes, i would. if you want to do it, do it!! or you might regret not doing it later....
The school I'm going to has free boarding... free food... free plays... free concerts... And I'm still making more money than you.
$100 a month is peanuts, even if they pay for all your costs of living. That's only a few thousand in disposable income each year. It's ridiculous.
ridiculous for a 15 year old to understand trust me - coming from someone who has made and had lots of money at times to having literally the shirt on my back - its not the most important thing in the world and plenty of people make do with very little at all and are completely happy. you don't judge a man or woman by their wallets.
you dont always need money for the things that make you happy kid.... you want to work a bullshit job your whle life go for it well i can be a happier man with out all that i got.... dont get cought up in it.... i am not saying this is something that i will do forever...... but maybe someday you will understand.... you are old enouf to read a good book so go pick up these two..... The celestine prophcy and The way of the peacful warior..... their ya go money bags if ya got more cash than i go buy them it will help you understand that their is more to life than money..... sometimes you can do with out it for a while......
Oh... wow, you can't have money AND be happy now? Is that it? You can easily find a good job you'd like to do that pays more than that. Almost every job you could find would pay more than that. I suppose that now, because I don't hate money and "the man", I'm a sad cog in the industrial machine? I can do what I want to do, and make money while doing it.
It sounds like your mind is already made up ozzy63347. Yeah, money isn't everything, but it sure helps...
money is easy to make I done it my whole life you are missing the point of the experiency..... you are only 15 you are still to young to know.... im am not putting you down i am stating the fact.... I make good money now but I paid all my debt off I am taking a break from the world and living in a place that is amazing.... when you get older and get to see things and experiency different things you will get it..... did you even look at the web page of the place..... dont try to think like you are not a kid.... and i am not going to try to get past your stubborness right now....
well i think i am going to do it..... i dont know for how long but the offrer is for as long as i want to...... i hope this is right
You only get one chance and I say experience all that you can.. And cat in the stove, I didnt know they pay that much at Mc Donalds...
