I rather be a fish, no doubt.

That is not one of the options. Please make a new thread if you want to talk about evil, birdeating cats.

I believe a dolphin would fit between a fish and a whale.

But that still does not make it a fish or whale, so it was an invalid post.

very true but being between both would put lucky dolphin in a position to see whether she wanted to be a fish or a whale... so the post was on porpoise.

She could have made that more clear in her post, since I am not that intellectually developed to see the connection.

There's no place in bird's thread for you edgmacated types so take your mortarboard, tassels, and egged head back to the Mensa headquarters aboard the submarine currently studying how fish and hungry whales interact...

bird probably chose fish because they swim in schools and he wants to be more learned.

i'd rather have manipulative appendages i can make things with, and a creative imagination to dream them up. there isn't that much to explore in the water either, unless you get down near the bottem. so oceans are kind of out for me, except maybe reefs and shallows. freshwater lakes and streams may have interesting places to explore though. i'd still miss having manipulative appendages. if i was born an aquatic life form without them, and had any inkling of previous lives with, i'd go stark raving nuts.
