    Oh beautiful word,
Grace this plane with thy sacred purpose,
    All powerful written letter,
translate, relay the mirrored thoughts of our
    futile existence
Give voice to our hopes and dreams,
    Terrors and nightmares
Grant us the freedom the human spirit
    desires,
    to explore, to create
These are the gifts granted by your glory
May the reign of free thought, the power of the
    Pen,
    never diminish
Only grow as our potential grows,
    The limitless power of Man.

    How very lofty of you.
    Reminds me of Ayn Rand.

Although I'm not fond of Ayn Rands philosophy, I liked your poem.
My favorite line is "Grant us the freedom the human spirit desires"
