Dude i agree with you. But an ability to take in a bunch of bullshit, use it to solve a bunch of bullshits, and then remember it untill exams shows an employer you are capable of Bullshit digesting. Without this skill of digestion, you will be filling in potholes - because its simple/ no bullshit involved, you just put the shit in the hole, and theres no longer a hole.

Definitely subjects in highschool should be changed, like making them more general and only those who are interested in certain subjects should get the opportunity to study them later in university. And leave the others alone.
the education system in the west is a joke. you are taught how to pass a test, and not much more. there is an obsession with tests, scores and grades, and little or no focus on actual learning, or the learning of practical things. you do not need a college or even a high school degree to be successful and happy. school indoctrinates you into thinking inside the box, forcing you to limit yourself and not realize all the options and opportunities that are out there. further, if you try to break the mold and think for yourself, and carve your own path, your peers will tend to cut you down and discourage & demotivate you. it's true what your mother told you all those years, anything is possible, and you really can do whatever you want. the tricky part is figuring out what you want.
