Didn't quite seem which subforum would be the right spot for this guy so I chose middle-ground. Anyway, this dude Xavier Rudd is fantastic. Lisa (lovelightlisa) saw him at Lowlands this year, a big Dutch alternative music festival, and bought a cd and all, and let me listen to it, and it's AWESOME. So we both got tickets to see him in Amsterdam in October. So anyway, he makes some kind of really great, relaxing mix between reggae, surf and mellow semi-psychedelic folk, and the best thing is, he handles all instruments (including unorthodox stuff like didgeridoos) and vocals on his own... even on stage! A one-man live band, yay. Really really groovy. Official site.
gOddam! I saw that geezer live at Southbound in Australia, he's hella good hey! I aint never seen anyone play the didge, drums and guitar at the same time. May have been the 4 tabs of acid but that was the best gig ive been to in a LONG time! Peace&/OrLove Barnable
