I know that the controller ports run on USB, so I'm wondering if I can take my Ipod USB cord and hack off the male USB end, and then mate it up to an xbox controller cord? Would it do anything?

I'm just wondering, would it be like a new memory card or something?

    Note: I mean Xbox 1 not 360.

I guess there isn't a lot of modders, just mostly players...

i'm not sure if it would be recognized as an external HD or if the ipod could sync w/ the xbox's internal memory...
my guess is that nothing would happen w/o custom firmware of some sort on your ipod.

    It works. I did it.

I just did exactly what I said and took the male xbox controller adapter and mated it up with the male Ipod connector and plugged it in.

    Works like a charm.
