It got released on video yesterday. When me car's fixed I'm gonna go out and rent it. It came out when I was overseas and had no money...I have been waiting for so long. I really liked batman begins.

I wonder how heath ledger's performance will compare to Jack Nicholson's in Batman.

I am the single living person who did not enjoy it. Heath did a good job, but I just wasn't digging it.

    Nicholson > Ledger
Burton's Batman > The Dark Knight

I saw the Dark Knight in theaters and found it does not live up to the hype. Some parts in the movie I just found plain laughable. I was pretty disappointed but alot of people say it is the greatest movie of all time so....

Maybe I was being overly critical because everyone was makin such a big deal about it but I dont know. I might rent it and watch again. But I dunno things like batman killing people and self destructing the batmobile for no reason other than to take his little motorcycle out along with the jokers lame rantings about his face. The movie just really bothered me. Not to mention some of the camera angles are horrible. Ive seen better camera work in ametuer films. Near the end of the movie when the joker is hanging upside down they turn the camera upside down too so it looks like his jacket is sticking straight up in the air. I think alot of people give the movie pity points because of Ledgers death.

    The Dark Knight > Batman

    Ledger > Nicholson

I saw it 4 times in the cinema, it is not boring.

Probably the best movie of 2008.

Exactly. I think the retail DVD is online for DL. The R5 was available ages ago.

There are movies out there that can't be enjoyed half as much from a freakin' computer and TDK is definitely one of them.

That depends on the size of your screen and your audio equipment.

Yea Dark Knight is best really, really quiet and small. Actually for optimum Dark Knight experience just turn it all the way off and leave the room.

I bought it. It's great! But we are all entitled to our own opinions.

Definitely not the best movie of all time but pretty damn good.

My favorite part is when the entire population of Gotham is put on two boats but you can clearly see cars driving around on the shore. Somehow in Nolan's 'super realistic world' these boats were filled with explosives because nobody thought to check after uni-bomber Joker already blew up a hospital and burned mountains of cash.

Who said it was the entire population? The boat carried as much as it could.

    Speaking of Dark Nights

    AP updated 1 hour, ago

CONCORD, N.H. - An ice storm knocked out power to more than a million homes and businesses in New England and upstate New York, and authorities say it could take days for all of them to get service back.

The governors of Massachusetts and New Hampshire declared states of emergency Friday morning, and schools were closed and travel disrupted across the region.
Power may not return to tens of thousands in Massachusetts until Monday at the earliest, Gov. Deval Patrick said. "Many of us view that as an ambitious estimate at this point," he told a news conference

New Hampshire Gov. John Lynch urged residents "to take sensible precautions and heed all warnings from public officials." "I don’t think anyone anticipated it would be as bad as it is," he added.
In Hampstead, N.H., Mark Cegelis said things were hectic at his neighborhood gas station, which was jammed with people trying to get gas for home generators.

"It's kind of lawless out there right now," Cegelis said. "There's a lot of people very frustrated, stacking up at the gas stations. It's pretty ugly."
