Thanks, I didn't actually want to just give her the translation, to save her doing her homework, I wanted a correct translation to compare with her effort. Your 2 translations were greatly appreciated. I think we managed to assure that her translation was pretty good. The gladiator? LOL The task was to create a paragraph about a girl living in ANCIENT Italy, the names and occupations were my daughters choice.
