I just heard Jefferson Airplane's 'Start a Revolution' on the television. It turned out to be an investment revolution. They were using it on a mutual fund commercial...

Somewhere on the Fur Peace Ranch, Jorma Kaukonen is exploding.

As if the band didn't approve of the song being used in the commercial and nobody in the band is making money off of it.

its that kind of attitude that keeps the world(and your greedy world) in the shitty state its in. crazy as it may sound:rolleyes: , there are people who care more for other things than they do themsevles, or equally, or at least PRETEND to care, which is a lot more than what most people do.

I think they used a Bowie song on another of their commercials...I could be wrong though...I just know some mutual fund company used a Bowie song...and I was mad.

Frank Zappa is really hot in your signature. I was listening to the Mothers this morning. :)

Yeah he owns a majority of them, from about 150-250, i think. He bought the rights for 47 million and shares them with sony.

my sister and i were talking about this the other day, you hear a song for a jc penny commercial and it just ruins the song, no matter how awesome it was before

I'm sorry- I like my version of reality better than the one that includes Jefferson Airplane being anything but infallible.
