There sems to be a bit of chatter lately concerning Yopo.... People, People,... Do some simple research please!!!!!!!!....... Yes, Yopo is a very trying substance (albeit with certain shamanistic rewards) If you want to do this substance and put up with the pain/agony/etc to do it, then fry up a few seeds and go for it... If, on the other hand, you want a nice visual experience, without the toxic side effects/ without the hassle of some of the Bufotenine ingestion problems; the why. oh why won't the peeps do the easy "kitchen chem hacK" procedure of converting Bufo Hydrochloride into the much more benign and rewarding Bufo-Carbonate???? Anybody into this entheogen should readily admit and be aware of the difference!!!!!!!! Anybody with the "entheo-persuasion" need only look to EROWID, and specificcaly a post by "Baron" entitled Vaporized Extract, to see that Bufo has great reward if people take the time to do it right..... BTW:::: Bufo is not toxic when bio-assayed in carbonate form...Seems like most of the folks would rather half-ass poison theirselves than do some cursory research in to how to extract and utilze such shamanic substance.... BTW--- Bufo-Carbonate vaporized lasts about 2-4 hrs with no crash / much visuals / and mild euphoria.... Maybe it is, in fact, a substance that is only for those with a bit of 'head-sense'.... Hell, something that can be produced at pennies a dose, and be as rewarding as an "average AYA" journey, may well need to stay under the radar........ I am still very skeptical about this whole 5-CaO-dmt (calcium bufotenate) theory. The guy who started the idea on BL was a troll with multiple accounts. He even went in and changed the WIKI entry. I have plenty of experience with both A. Perigrina and A. Columbrina snuffs, smoked, and with extracts and never got any of the overly positive effects listed in the report, even with identical preperations. There is definitely something worthwhile to these plants, but the side effects are more pronounced than any other entheogen I have tried. DO NOT COMBINE WITH DXM
It seems from your posting at Erowid, that you did not take the time to let your snuff mixture turn into carbonate form. That would easily explain the red face etc, as well as the other effects, or lack thereof... Heck, why not take the little effort required and extract some relatively concentrated Bufo-Carbonate, and bio-assay that????-----------SQUID
I have tried a few other preps, (though not a bufo-carbonate extract) and have not gotten the amazing trip I keep hearing about. I dont have a ton of time to do extractions since my buisness (I make custom walleye and trout tackle) started to catch on and take off. I will have another report about anadenathera preps on erowid soon though
