I had those problems before I smoked pot so no harm now right?

Oh and Anarchistscott- On the BBC news they spoke to a medical professional in south africa who deals with people affected by weed and she said that the effects would be staggering in england. Its mainly to do with the fact that durban poison is getting smoked more in england which is the most potent as far as fucking you up goes.

Heh the people on the news report were literally fried.....

And nothing in those cases are conclusive. It depends on teh individual. Not every person is going to experience those effects from weed. Some will feel negative effects, but that's them.

don't come in here and start preaching shit you don't know much about. If you can't even realize all people are different and will all have different experiences, then you don't know much about this subject.

Take me for example. How do you explain the fact that before I smoked pot, I was depressed, but since I have become a daily smoker, I am calm, and I think about things before jumping to conclusions, and I have found a path that makes me a happy person. not to mention the fact that I have hardly any appetite without pot.

 

America is much more than our president, or even our government. Unless the political climate here got extremely restrictive, I'm happy living here. You cant let one assclown ruin your whole view of your country.

 

I wasn't "preaching shit" as you so eloquently put it. I was simply bringing new research to peoples attention. At which point did I say that every last pot smoker is fucked? The research has found that an awful lot of people are going to be, but some lucky ones won't be affected, its the same with every disease or affliction. Ok so pots had a postive affect on your life....wow your lucky, that must make the people in the mental health centre whose brains are fried from years of smoking pot feel so much better about themselves.

Final point-Your all very young stoners....these effects don't kick in until much later life. Oh and apparenly the cannabis in circulation today is a LOT more powerful then what they smoked back in the 60's....before anyone brings that arguement up

And I don't give a shit about the people who are fucked up from pot. If it really had THAT much of a negative effect on them, why didn't they quit to begin with. They each CHOSE that path and now they are dealing with the consequenses.

If in 30 years I have problems b/c I smoked weed that are that bad, I will live with it. I won't want anyone's pity or help. It will have been MY fuck up and I'm mature enough to realize that.

Like with sex. I protect myself, of course, but if I happen to get pregnant, I will deal with it as a mature adult.

pot is not physically addicting. Its weak people that think they need it, or dumb people who beleive pot can solve thier problems, and people who have addictive personalities.

None of that is the fault of pot. It lies within each person and you have to know yourself before you decide to alter your mind.
