on another forum using this same engine, they have selected an option that automaticlly attaches a name to the reps why hasnt skip turned this on?
so that when someone gives a negative (or positive, for that matter) rep, the anonymity ensures that another negative rep won't be returned for the simple reason of anger or revenge, maybe. personally, i think the whole idea of having reputation on the forum is ridiculous, and so i've disabled mine.
but thats kinda my point, people will neg rep you for the stupidest shit now, if it was turned on, people would stop being assholes cause they would get that rep back
but that's just silly, there shouldn't be a grade-school type popularity contest going on here. so i rep you a positive point, which flatters you, and you rep me back? what's been accomplished?
and likewise, i would be hesitant to give you a negative rep in case you were offended and gave me a negative rep in retaliation. again, nothing has really been accomplished.
You are so right. and anonymous -ve reps are totally cowardly, like stabbing someone in the back. Come on people, if your going to slam someone do it to their face. The rep. you gave me was my 57th one, whatever that means, and I still do not have a -ve one. Is there some dire consequence of having one? If not, I was unable to give you a rep so maybe you could give me a -ve one? I have already asked someone else yesterday, to no avail, so I would love it if you would hit me with one. The +ve one you gave me was for keeping my composure in response to a rude poster, and if you read further on in the exchanges, I do in fact lose it a bit later on, so I don't really deserve the +ve one anymore. If you don't want to do it that is fine, just asking.

thanks sophia, you got it. I called him a know it all and even said fuck you at one point when he erroneously accused me of making up statistics after he did not read my post carefully enough. He said, quit pulling numbers out of your ass, or something like that, so I replied f u and then pointed out that it was his error of misreading, and I had not done what he accused.
i was getting frustrated just reading the exchange, so i'm sure your "f u" was quite understandable. and, well, whenever you want a negative rep, or just a good "tsk, tsk" i'm here for you, though it really isn't deserved! oh, and, it does indeed, and though i can't say i've got that down yet, i am working on it. haha... peace, sophia.
i like the current system, with its anonymous rep. Its fun, it allows you to say things to the ladies and give them a little giggle or get them arroused, not signing your name adds to the mystery. as for the little shits who neg for the fun of it.........fuck them.
