I read on here it was easy to find at a widespread panic concert...so I spent $60 on a ticket and there was nothing there but a buncha drunks!!! Thanks for nothing!!!

I can't say I am a big fan of many of the groups Deadheads listen to, although I like '60s psychedelic and experimental rock. If you are going to a show to pick up acid, at the very least you should like some of the music or feel some sort of adventure in your quest to find it, which means meeting new people and opening your mind to new things, even music.

I have not been to a Widespread Panic show where they were the primary performers, so I can't say how you should go about in their shows to find doses. You just need to talk to and meet the right people.

I've listened to Widespread Panic once live and was not too impressed.

 

At a Panic show, yes it's basically a guantee that you will find L. Keep your eyes and ears open!

Buying a ticket for the sole purpose of the possibility of scorin some L is completely and totally reprehensible, secondly, judging by the vibe you put off (based on this thread anyway) nobody that's serious would fuck with someone so immature and obviously not "ready" anyway. Who knows though, maybe next time you go to a show, you might be able to get some drainbow or gutter punk to sell you some dirty 10ug confetti at a jacked up price.

To the thread starter: You're a fucking moron. Please, don't ever again, buy a ticket to see a 'jamband.' You're the kind of fuckface that I don't wanna see at shows, and I'm going to go out on a whim and say a lot of other people probably feel the same way. You probably would have wigged out and ruined at least one head's day by not handling your dose anyways. And who the fuck pays 60 dollars for a ticket to WSP? Jesus, phish tickets not that far out were like 40 bucks on their farewell tour. AND THAT WAS PHISH. You're the person who sucks, and karma sure realized this too.

 

Wow I must say I never expected quite this much hostility just for telling someone they suck (so much for peace and love), but I can see I was out of line, so I apologize to any and all I offended. I wrote that right after the concert, where I ended up drinking about 7 beers along with everyone else- so it was kinda the beer talking). It wasn't a bad concert, but I saw no evidence of any recreational pharmaceuticals, except for a few people burning joints. But then again, I wasn't on the floor. As far as the parking lot, it was at Philips Arena- which you have to take the train to get to. My biggest problem is that I'm getting a little old for the scene (my trippin days were back in 86-87) and the kids who ARE trippin have got to be suspicious of a late 30-ish guy wandering around. Reminds me of a line from a Springsteen song ("yeah, just sittin back, tryin' to recapture...little of the glory of....well, but time slips away and leaves you with nothin' mister but boring stories of....glory days") Anyway, if anyone can offer any tips that would help me in my search, msg me on AIM....peace
