The church I attend is Pentecostal. So I suppose you could say that is what I am.

Why in the world would any self-respecting Christian (or any self-respecting human being) belong to ANY denomination? What is wrong with actually reading the Bible and thinking for yourself, for a change?

    What a ridiculous reply Kandahar!

What on earth makes you think i would attend a LUtheran church and stop reading a Bible and 'thinking for myself'?

Is that what YOU did when attending a Church?

News Alert my friend.. most of us 'crazy' denominational Church attending people are just confident and 'advanced' enough to do so without 'losing our minds'.

Its a higher concept for you Im sure.

I was born in to the Catholic faith. But i consider myself multi denominational. I'll worship anywhere, as long as they believe the bible and Jesus was God incarnate. Who died on the cross for the sins of the world and rose from the dead. All those that belief in him and what he has done for us will be saved. I stay away from that Binny Hinn stuff. Which i belief is full of spiritual pride.

I am Christian. I am not a religious person. I do not follow set rules for a curch. Wha t Ido follow is Jesus teachings in The Bible. I seek fellowship with other Christians so that we might praise and worship together. I find it hard now days to find a good place to do this. Lately however, I find myself worshiping in my car, as I mow the lawn, before I sleep, or while I am being tested. I pray that God will reveal a Church to me, until then, I'll just keep doing what I do here and around my friends, spread Gods word whenever I can.

    P.S.

My father is leaving for India in about 4 min it looks like. He will be gone for 2 weeks on a mision trip. Just keep him and others like him in your prayers that God's will be done.

    :) Hi'. I am a non-denominational christian.
I really am happy that other christians are here.
I hope you all don't feel bad about the atheists.
they all know that soon they won't have any rights
left as all the religions begin to unite together.
It's not good news for us either if we believe that
Jesus is the only way to God as I do,but there won't
be any atheists around thats for sure.
They are just angry because they are losing.
Soon they will have to tolerate the religious views of
others or be arrested,so they are trying to bash all the
christians that they can while they still have time to do
it in. Most of them will probably conform to the One world
global religion because many of them believe in the pagan
ancient religion of evolution, but if you keep sharing the
gospel and pray for them, one or even more may be saved.
who knows, one of them might remember what one of you said
    when the NWO takes effect?
I heard that some mexicans in mexico are already taking the
I.D. chip now. Pray and be careful. stay strong in God always, and in Jesus who is the only way to salvation and the
Holy Father. In Jesus with love for all of you.

And you all wonder why atheists and agnostics feel so much animosity toward fundamentalist Christians...

Well she is right. The way the chip is being presented will seem like it's a God-send. That is how people will fall for it. The real followers of Christ aren't going to be taking it because they know what it stands for. It might be optional at first, but it will be forced on society by the antichrist. Most people will join the one world religion because it will satisfy all beliefs. It will tell everyone what they want to hear. But it will be against those who are for Christ.

call me superstitious, but i don't want any freaking chip inbedded in my body. though many people feel the mark of the beast on the head and hand would be more symbolic of thoughts and deeds of people causing the angels to mark them.

It stands for New World Order. It's George Bush Sr.'s plan for American hegemony and world domination.

Daddy Bush didn't plan that out, Daddy Bush is actually a very nice guy. If there is such a thing as NWO, it was made by eccentric billionaires Howard Hughes style.

    what denomination?

what flavor of christianity are you, my little popsicle?

ELCA is the american lutheran body formed by the fusion of LCA & ALC... the ELCA ordains women, & will officially share pulpit & communion with ummmm anglican/episcopal, reform, UCC, & i think presbyterian(?) & maybe a couple others...)
other flavors of lutherans include missouri synod, wisconsin synod, & a few other miscellaneous lutheran groups (mostly quite conservative; the metroplitan group is a liberal splinter group which allows "practicing homosexual" clergy to be called to pulpit: & there's a few others, mostlof 'em remnants of older euro-lutheran groups...)

(if i ever get ordained. i'm gonna schism off & ordain & establish "the gnostic redeemer zen lutheran church of NA, ltd.pty.", an eclectic pangaian mahayanist christian heterodox sect of one...)

    ~

    well...

    • Novus ordo seclorum - latin for new world order
[*]Bible prophesies a great world order
[*]it will be established on earth just before Jesus Christ's second coming
[*]new world order will be the kingdom of the antichrist
New World Order, or NWO, is the new government and one world religion that the antichrist will establish on earth. The United Nations is said to be this world government since the Bible states that Europe will be the dominant force during the end times.

The antichrist's plans to conquer the world will be through peace and diplomacy, not brute force.

"And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power [he will be energized by Satan], and he shall destroy [Hebrew: corrupt] wonderfully, and shall prosper and practice, and shall destroy [corrupt) the mighty and the holy people (Israel]. And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by PEACE shall destroy (corrupt) many" (Daniel 8:24,25)."

The main thing is that even the most elect will be deceived. So unless you have a strong relationship with Christ and his Holy Spirit is living inside of you, then you will not be able to distinquish this government's, "brilliant plans", from Christ's own message of peace.

And no, this time the NWO will not involve Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, or Scott Hall

:) Look,I am really not trying to offend you at all.
    I don't recall ever being an atheist,but I sure was a worldly
person before I was saved, and I understand alot more than
    you may think I do.
I have also learned since I was saved that sugar coating the
    truth doesn't help anyone.
Yes,I can be bold at times, but what do you want me to do?
Jesus loves you soooo much,so much more than you can even
amagine, and I love him. That is why I want him to have what
he wants. If I have offended you,I apologize for that, but your
soul is way to precious to gamble with,so I'm straight up with
    you.
Time is running out,and one day we won't have this freedom
to tell you things, and if you stay an atheist, you won't either.
I do have one agenda,I'll be totally honest with you.
I want you to find out the truth for yourself, and hopefully be
saved. If I didn't care about you,I wouldn't even try.
I did come on a bit strong, but we are living in some totally
off the wall, twilight Zone times now.
All I ask is that you look into it all,and at least try to give God
    another chance.
If some people get mad at me right now,but get saved later,
it'll be worth it. Your soul is worth it.

 You are very wise for your young age. I was born again
as a teen, but I strayed and got into the world for several
years. After years of trying to do it my way, My heart wanted answers about God,and I really wanted to know him,and he
helped me.I was finally able to understand the bible, and I
have had many miracles in my life. I haven't looked back.
God is my everything, and the greatest love of my life, amen.
I was in my late twenties when I was re-baptised,and now
    I'm in my thirties.
Please keep teaching all those that you can.
You are very wise about the Gospel and God.
P.S. I have also had some very hard times, but they would
    have been unbearable without God.
