Do you pay attention to what you eat, or will you eat just about anything you like, whenever you like? Do you pay attention to calorie and fat content? What about portion size? Are there any foods you will NOT eat because they are unhealthy? Do you eat processed foods, or do you avoid them like the plague?

There was a time when I wouldn't give a single thought to what I was eating, or how much fat and calories it contained. Now it is like an obsession with me. While I don't add up the calories of every single thing I eat, I do take into account what I am eating and try to gauge it as best as I can. I used to eat fast food at least once a week, whereas now I won't touch it. The same goes for sugary and processed foods, with a few exceptions.

These days I strive to eat only whole and unprocessed foods. I try to avoid bad carbs at all costs, and stick primarily to fresh fruits, vegetables and healthy fats (fish, eggs, chicken, nuts, coconut oil, etc). While I do sometimes eat foods that are fatty and contain sugar, I keep it to a bare minimum, as in like only once a week or less.

So what is your diet like? Are you happy with your diet, or would you like to make changes, and why?

I really make an effort to eat well. Keeping down the fat and refined carbs. It's the only way I can stay trim and above all healthy.

Processed foods and restaurant foods tend to make me ill. Too many odd chemicals in that stuff. I stay away from that stuff 99% of the time. Other than that stipulation I tend to eat whatever I want and don't gain weight. I weigh the same now as I did when I graduated high school... I actually still own the pants I word to the graduation and they still fit... I am 4 inches shorter though.

I've had to mostly eliminate raw foods due to irritable bowel syndrome. I don't eat any beef anymore because it began to taste terrible to me. I have chicken maybe once a week.

I miss the days of munching out on raw vegetables, fruits, and nuts. It's much more difficult to try to eat smart when you can't have those.

I eat what's available to me at the time. but I'm actually really really picky these days so I don't eat much. I'm not the healthiest person on earth, but I'm not unhealthy either.

I eat healthy for the most part. Ive done my reading on GMOs, food coloring, aspartame, HFCS and many many others and now avoid what i feel like is 95% of the grocery store.

Granola for breakfast is awesome. Its not hard to make yourself either. Taste like a healthy adult version of cinnamon toast crunch..then with a banana or two...seriously those two things will hold me over for hours, even when im active and always on my feet.

Lunch is always a pain to deal with because im always busy. I rarly eat lunch in general and i dont think this is a good habit...more bananas are always good...lol

Dinner, i love hamburgers, pastas, and tortillias of some kind.

I rarly eat chicken anymore...ever since i read an article about the FDA releasing documents saying cancer causing arsenic is in the food given to the birds, that the arsenic is not released through its feces like the FDA claimed for 40 or 50 years. The article is under the latest news...true or not...that put a splinter in my mind to not touch chicken period unless you know ole billy down the road who raises the birds...

    I'm a vegetarian - so obviously don't eat meat.
That has probably saved me from eating too much fat.
I do eat processed food - well a few ready meals every now again.
I don't really buy into most of the scare stories relating to some processed food etc.
I don't really watch what what I eat...
...but I don't really eat many sweets or puddings and I naturally go for simpler foods.
I like to drink lots of fluids - that's about the only thing I try to do.
    I'm naturally a slim person - If I didn't drink alcohol I'd have my six-pack back.

If you associate meat with "too much fat," then you probably don't know too much about proper nutrition. Just saying.

Well, that's different. That is processed meat, which is very unhealthy. How can you call yourself a vegetarian if you eat that shit?

I am a vegetarian as well, but I have a tendency to eat too much bread/pasta sometimes. Other than that I am happy with my diet. I love to cook and love trying new things, so I do not eat a lot of processed crap. I eat a lot of spicy food, and love Asian style cooking. Once in a while I will splurge with some sweets, but usually stuff I make myself. I try not too eat too much dairy, but I do like cheese. I cook with cheese a fair amount of the time.
I drink a LOT of water, and avoid sodas. I like to have a Mexican Coke once in a great while. The sodas from Mexico have no high fructose corn garbage they use cane sugar.
Having a bottle once in a while is a treat. I do not drink alcohol very often, and when I do its usually wine. Champagne is nice too.
I have never been a calorie counter.

I have a pretty balanced diet. I try to eat mostly fruits and vegetables. I've cut a lot of meat out of my diet. I try to eat it 3 times a week as opposed to daily like I used to. I love pasta but try to add a lot of veggies to pasta dishes to make it more balanced.

I'm a sucker for sweets but lately I've been trying to make my own deserts from scratch to avoid processed crap.

I shop mostly at farmer's markets to avoid gmos. I also rarely eat out. It's impossible to get a healthy, balanced meal at most restaurants.

I'm vegan so obv no meat or dairy or animal products whatsoever.

I eat a range of things, although my food intake is quite low as I have a tiny appetite. I'll usually eat homemade pasta with sauce and loads of veg, vegetable bakes and stews in the colder months. I'm a massive lover of root and winter veggies!
I dont eat anything processed, if I see something in a shop that looks nice then I try and find recipes for it instead, I love making my food from scratch. I make a damn good pizza.

I tend to just snack on fruit, raw veg, nuts, and a little bit of vegan chocolate (attempted to make that once, never again). I do homemade vegan ice cream too :D that is goooood.

Only bad thing with my diet is that I don't eat enough (i only have appetite for 1 full meal a day, I don't eat breakfast because it makes me feel ill and I don't really eat lunch most days either, I know its bad) and I drink pepsi continuously throughout the day, I literally crave the stuff. I've tried to stop before but I've been drinking it non stop for about ten years, whenever I try I'll make smoothies or something but they never work, I'll be on my way to the shop for Pepsi before I've even finished making it.

Loadsa smoothies with acai spirulina, guarana macca fresh orgainc fruit etc...

100% veggie nothing that has walked or swam around has passed my lips for 28 years
I eat heaps of fruit and veg but am still chubby with an hour glass figure...

Tofu and raw protein bars nut roasts etc ...

I like sometimes to have the odd pizza and very rarely eat cheese and eggs...never touch milk or much diary but sometimes I will treat us to a Italian meal out, which has the whole shebang...not often tho ... I prefer home cooked to most restaurants and the ones I would want to eat it I couldn't really afford..

Calories- Couldn't give a fuck, but then I'm slim and very active
I make sure I eat 2 portions of oily fish a week and vegetables/salad with every dinner
I naturally eat a few portions of fruit a day
I don't eat meat from mammals and I have a low gluten diet due to intolerance.
I eat too much chocolate, which I should try to change but probably wont.
I restrict alcohol to a glass or 2 of wine a week, if that.
