    gotta love the airplane!

I can go for any JA up to 30Seconds Over Winterland. Baxters, Crown of Creation, Bless Its Pointed Head, and Volunteers are all burned into my memory note for note by now!

    Hi there:
As a long time fan of the Airplane and author of a book on them "Take Me To A Circus Tent", I could never pick one above the other from the first 5- Takes Off, Pillow, Baxter's, Crown, or Volunteers. Each has a significant element of timeless energy.

    Thanks,
    CF

love them all.....listening to "Takes Off" right now...good lord, I love Signe Anderson's voice

but my favorite at this moment is Baxters.....yeah...Young Girl Sunday Blues is my jam!!! But I love them all for each their own reasons.......I was really into Bless Its Pointed Little Head for a few months...still am, but Baxters is in rotation right now!

the only one i ever had was the one with white rabbit and somebody to love on it. if that was surrialistic pillow so be it. it was on 8-track that i had it, and the piece of paper with the picture on it wasn't glued on very well and fell/got torn, off, verry soon after my getting it. the plastic was red, i remember that, but so was the jethro tull that i had and a number of others. i never did collect vynil, with all it's liner notes and cover art, nor have a decent turntable to play them on. so i really don't know the names of most of the alblums i had from those days. they were all on 8-track at first, and later, on cassette.

Grace Slick changed my life, literally. Surrealistic Pillow got me into them, Crown of Creation hooked me, and Bless Its Pointed Little Head kept me for life.

By reason that Eskimo Blue Day is one of my all-time favorite songs.

Jorma did an excellent job in that song, his guitar tone and playing are both so beautiful and brilliant.
