How was your first piercing or body modification? Earrings count if you want, but I don't really remember much of that except my ears stung on the walk home. My nose was the first non-ear thing I got pierced. I was nervous but really excited too. The place I went to was really nice... white walls, pretty sparse but very clean looking. I had a girl piercer (I'm realizing now how rare those are), who talked me through what she was going to do and how to clean it before hand. Then she put iodine on my nose, the inserted this pipe-like object (still dont' know the name of it) to make sure the needle didn't go past where it was supposed to. It only hurt while the needle was in... putting the jewelry in didn't hurt a smidgen (unlike my nipples). I felt fine afterwards until about twenty minutes later, I felt really lightheaded and woozy. Ended up making my mom stop the car so I could put my head between my knees for five minutes, then I felt fine. I followed the cleaning instructions to a T and never had a problem with my nose (unlike my ears, which I got a couple of mild infections with). It was definately a good experience, not at all scary and I really like my nose piercing It only took me four months to convince my mother to let me get it done (I was 16 at the time)
(not counting ear piercings)In grade 6 I remember me wanting my nose pierced, so I just did it myself. Took about an hour for me to shove the thing through lol...had to take it out of couse. The next thing was my labret in grade 9. Just saw a nice labret spike bought it and decided to pierce my lip that night, it was rockin'. Still have that one amoung many others. The only one that isn't self done is my septum, paid 80$ for that bad boy... now I look back and wonder why I didnt do it myself.
my nose when i was 21 it was awesome, then my labret last year it fucking hurt but i really really loved it. it feel out but i'm planning on getting it redone.
i got my eyebrow peirced when i was 14. i have also had my nose peirced, my labret peirced, and my ears have like 10 holes in each of them. thats about it but i never wear anything in them, i cant be bothered. although once in awhile i put my lip ring in.
My first piercing was my nose when I was 20. It didn't hurt when I got it done...but...funny story... When they pierced it, they put a HUGE hoop in it. It was WAYYYY to big for the size of my nose and looked terrible. So the next day...the guy I was seeing at the time helped me take it out with pliers. Talk about hurting like a motherfucker...whew. I put a stud in and it looked a lot better. Now...after three years almost...I put a hoop back in...go figure.
My first body piercing was at the age of nineteen and it was my eye brow. It went pretty smoothly, however, six months later, the skin grew around the piericing and it fell out. The woman who pierced my lip was more informative and her tattoo shop was quite professional instead of the biker joint I had my brow done at. I removed my lip ring eight months ago.
The thing to catch the needle in is called a threader. My first piercing was self done & it was my nose. Then I pierced my monroe myself. I don't have either of them anymore. I have 21 piercings total, including earrings. I have my tongue, nipples, & every alternative ear piercing, except for the conch. I have my helix, my rook, my tragus, an industrial, & my anti-tragus. I wanted to get my conch soon & prob my belly button in time for summer. I can't really have facial piercings at work so I don't have any. If I get one though, it'll probably be my labret. I also love medussa's! That's in your upper lip centered in the crease between your lips. My bf wants me to get my monroe redone though. Labret is the lower lip centered in between the bottom of your lip & the crease in your chin.
my first piercing was my naval when I was 17. I went to visit my girlfriend in another state for her wedding and the night I got there she said "lets go get our navels pierced". I had wanted to do that anyway for a while so we did. She took hers out but I still have the same one in that I got it pierced with. I don't even know it's there anymore unless someone mentions it. My first tat I got at 15 (ironically I was visiting the same girl) then my mother took me to have it done over at 16. Haha...my mom kept saying to me "do you want me to hold your hand sweetie?" I was like "NO MOM!" hehe.
my first piercing was my nipples...i was scared i threw up on the way there.. It hurt for a moment, the worst part was having some strange guy touch your boobs... I took them out shortly after cause they felt beyond odd and uncomfortable and made my nipples stick out constantly... then got my bellybutton pierced and still have it and now i want my labret pierced but dont think my job would appreciate that..
I got my nose (right nostril) pierced when I was 13, labrette when I was 15 and tongue when I was 16.
I got my bellybutton done over a year ago, I really like it. It didn't hurt at the time that much, I mean I didn't cry or anything lol I was just like "ow ow ow ow ow" the whole time... but that's all I'm going to do, I'm pretty sure.
I had my ears pierced when I was around 13, but the pain was so much when I went to change the studs, that I let the holes close up. My first and so far only tatt (I may get another when I can afford it) was far, far less painfull. Odd, I know. My then-uncle (a few months later divorced from my aunt and vanished without a trace) did for for me...completely free. So I have no complaints, really. I liken getting a tattoo done to like having a prolonged nettle sting.
I finally worked up the nerve to get my ears done when I was 13. I sat in the same kind of chair I sat in at the dentist's office. It was at a hole-in-the-wall place at 5th Avenue Mall, in Anchorage, AK. The woman who worked there looked so beautiful and dignified. She must have been eighteen, but she was a grown-up to me. She had strait blond hair and a warm smile. "You okay? Are you sure about this?" I nodded. She turned to my tearful mother. "How about you Mom?" "I threw up and passed out, when I had mine done. When I woke up, my aunt was sitting there with her potato and her safety pin, told me I had one left," Mom whined. "It's going to hurt like hell. It's your body; you're old enough. Just be glad Aunt Stella's not around." Her face was blotchy. Mascara ran down her soggy cheeks. "And don't cry," she whined. "Mom, cut it out! Everybody says it doesn't hurt. You're just trying to scare me, again. I'm ready, I'm sure. Let's go." I beamed with the abundance of confidence that entangles me in so much trouble. "Mom, is it okay?" the pretty blonde asked. Mom nodded in agreement, then covered her face with a sale ad, snatched from the counter. I rolled my eyes. I felt the cold, wet swab on my ear lobe. I twitched, but held my ground. She slipped her the tip of her cold metal gun around my defenseless lobe. "Okay, I'm going to count to five. Ready? One...two...thr"-I heard the snap of her gun, and felt an excruciating jab of pain in my ear-"ee...four...five." At the count of five, the job was done. I guess I should've asked her to be more specific on the details of her count. My ear felt feverish, and the fever coursed through my entire body. A sudden rush of chills nearly rocked me to the floor. I pulled myself up, I sat as strait up in my dentist chair as I had ever sat in any chair. The pretty blonde moved to the other ear. "Mom, you can look now. I'm not even crying," I said bravely, for Mom's benefit. I know my voice trembled and cracked when I said this. I know my face must have been pale to the lips, my ear glowing red, but Mom needed me to be strong. A grown woman hiding behind a sale ad, crying in a gaudy accessory store needs a little support. She peeked out from behind her sale ad shelter, but promptly retreated when she saw my overly pleasant blonde sadist readying my other ear. "Okay, same thing as before. I'm going to count to five. One"-clchunk-"...two...three..four...five." Much better. This new shock of pain jolted the previous from my body. As soon as her hand moved away from my ear, I jumped out of my chair, and sat on the floor. Or maybe I fell to the floor. I don't know why. I grabbed Mom's leg, pulled myself up, gave her a reassuring hug, and whimpered, "It's okay. It's all over." She let loose, wailing! I went back to the floor. The blonde smiled impossibly broader, but her eyes expressed true concern for our sanity. She cleaned her instruments of pain, occasionally shooting us inquisitive glances. Mom must have realized what a spectacle we presented, because she suddenly wiped away her tears and, grabbing me by the forearm, jerked me up off the floor. We walked to the cash register where Mom slapped a credit card on the counter, and I received detailed instructions on caring for my new piercings. We left in cloud of embarrassment, pain, and sympathy pain. I didn't start crying until we got in the car and out of downtown. To end the story, I must say, the piercings didn't last. I left the starters in my ears for three times as long as recommended. I twirled them all the time, and rubbed my complimentary medicated gel on them everyday. They closed up as soon as I tried to swap the starters for some pretty, beaded, dangly little things that a friend of Mom's had made for me. I have not even thought about trying again. Sorry for the long post.
I got my clit hood pierced when I was 17. I had come across this book of artfully photographed pictures of vaginas. There were all these different shapes, different sizes, different colours... and they were all so beautiful! I had never really thought of a vagina as a thing of beauty before that. One of the vaginas had a piercing, and it looked amazing... like a shining pearl. I decided right then and there that I wanted to adorn myself in the same way... and I did. The piercing itself was easy. I was nervous but it didn't hurt.
for some reaon I thaught piercing my nipple was a good way to get started...12 gauge...the pain kept me away from piercings for another 4 years
I got my first ear peircings when I was 3 (if that counts?) and then at around 15 I started peircing my own ears, i have 9 now... But i'm very lop sided...3 on my right side, 6 on my left but I only wear one pair of curved barbells in my first hole....I havent found the right earrings to put in the rest. I got my eyebrow when I was 15, which ended up getting punched out at a concert. grrrr that hurt! Then I got my belly button, my nose, and my labret when I was 16. My body pushed out my belly button which also pisses me off and I havent gotten it re-done yet. So right now I have a little hoop in my nose and a silver ring I wear around my lip. And then I just recently got my tongue done about a month ago. I'm soon planning to get my navel re-done and an industrial. Rock on
