What do most of you do for a living? I'm a factory worker. It's really really good money!!! Easy easy work!
i'm still a student. highschool teacher to be, next year. teaching english or french as a foreign language.
I'm a stay-at-home mother/housewife, my husband works full-time as a head contract sales manager/estimating engineer.
On the assemblyline? Wouldn't do that all year... I do work sometimes at a factory though, just for the easy money indeed. But most of the time I'm not working at all, college is my excuse
I rehabilitate houses for low-income/impoverished/senior citizens so their homes don't get condemned and they aren't turned out into the street. I also maintain and repair group housing for the mentally ill so they have a comfortable, safe place to live (although I consider this warehousing of people that society doesn't want on the street).
I am a self-employed grounds keeper. I am so good at it – I can pick and choose my customers. The ones I choose are Senior citizens who have work hard all their life at their job and at keeping their home gardens. Eventually it gets too hard for them to tend their flower gardens and it breaks their heart. So I start doing it for them at a reasonable rate plus milk and cookies. Cheers!
I am a Regional Director for a non-profit and supervise staff, programming and budgets for 7 after-school care sites. It's a bit too stressful for me though and I am deciding between taking a job as a spoke's woman for a goverment iniative or going back with my old company and opening a brand new boys & girls club. I really can't decide ): I want to get my master's and become a child psychologist after I have kids so I can just work part-time.
Geez guys, I'm impressed by most all your jobs. They're almost all pretty philanthropic. I haven't worked for a few months so I could focus more on my schooling, but the last job I had was a printer and graphic editor for a local professional photography studio and photo lab. I'm currently looking for another job to start up once the semester ends in a few weeks.
shooter girl/waitress/bartender also i sell booze to minors also been thinking about getting into drug dealing i have the look for it
I work 2 jobs By day I prepare restaurant food By night I'm a maintenance worker During my free time I either sleep, budget, pay bills, or write messages on the Internet
More or less I guess you can say that. I pack chicken and stuff. Ever heard of Tyson Foods??? The money and insurance is very very good. I love my job. Been there almost 2 years now!
I just cooked a Tyson chicken today. Uhhum. But man... working packing chicken and stuff? That sounds terrible. I know I wouldn't be able to do it, pooooor chicken.
It's frozen and put in bags by a machine and all. Sometimes it get's pretty damn boring. But it's easy money for a ridiculous easy job! hehehe
How many hours is one shift, beautifulhippie? And if you don't mind me asking, how much do you make? (PM me if you don't want the whole board to know.) Are you able to listen to music while you're doing it? Just curious as I've never really known a factory worker.
