So, I just made this thread to discuss which mobile set are you currently using? What is the brand and the model? Do you like it or not? How long have you been using it? Let's start. I will tell about mine, later on.
Samsung Galaxy Proclaim. I like it, though would prefer a bigger screen. Been using it since October.
I'm surprised you use a smart phone. and tyrons, I didn't know what he was talking about either and I'm supposed to be a part of the smart phone generation.
I've heard of TV set. Never heard of a mobile set. I have heard of a mobile phone. I knew what you meant, though - 'mobile' gave it away. http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showpost.php?p=7403903&postcount=5
nokia 1208. it makes calls and texts, which is all i need it for, plus the batteries last for aaaages and there's a flashlight in the top, which is useful. i used to have a marginally better one, but i traded it with a 15 year old who'd just run away from her foster home and hopped a train a couple of hundred miles to try and meet up with her mate, who was on tag for arson. we couldn't find her house and the runaways phone was dead, so we swapped. my old one had a camera in, but it was a shit camera and i never used it, so no big loss.
What's cool are those generator thingies that you can hook onto your bicycle to recharge your stuff. Needed for long multi-day bike trips.
lol not at all..the contrary actually. although I'm convinced smart phones make you dumber so it may just be a matter of time
I have the HTC One V. I got it for myself for my birthday in November. It's the first smartphone I've ever had, so it's pretty awesome for the things it can do. Would be nice if the people at the Play Store would get their heads out of their asses and stop telling me games that will not work on my phone are compatible. lol. I have it in a pink Otterbox. Hate the color pink, but I can spot the damn thing a mile away and it was on sale for $20 while the manly gray boxes where $40.
htc something or other... i dont dig smart phones really but my dad got me it a while back... except mine has about 20 cracks/smashes down it...
Hahaha, lol........... Yeah you are actually right. Mobile phone is more kind of an appropriate word compared to mobile set, lol.........
Now this is something for a person like me. This kind of set seems amazing to me because of the battery time especially. I hate charging my cell again and again, even I don't want to charge my cell once everyday. My father used a similar mobile a few years ago but I don't remember the model. The brand was Nokia and it didn't require charging for days.
