each day my guidence consuler trys to get e down to her office to taklk about college. and i can only dodge her for so long. my older brother says i have enough money to go to school and pay off loans but i dont want to pay for my education and i dont want someone styanding n a room and giving long as speeches and have tests on things ill forget right after. i want to experience life first hand and teach myself things.

i have some money m grandpa left me and i am ableto get it now but my family is saying how ill go right through if i have it now and dont spend it on college. i realy want to move out after this year ends and just do my own thing. some of that money will be for rent and help me get situated until i fing out the right thing that i want to do. i want to live somewhere else and surround myself with interesting people and learn by seeing the world. im some way though i want to do something in science but i dont want to do the same thing every day.

anyone got any ideas on what i should do after high school or have your own stories of what happend after high school?

i went to college, im just about done my first semester.. i regret going big time. if youre a free spirit dont go. i regret it and i dont know if i should drop out and move far away, or tough out 2 years and waste my life. you can go to college anytime in your life, maybe if you do your own thing and you dont like it, then you can go.

I'm in my senior year of college. I absolutely love it. I started at community college because I wasn't sure if college was for me. I'm the free-spirited type of person. I think you can do both. I can't imagine myself in a low paying job the rest of my life. I'd suggest try community college to find out if college is right for you so that you don't waste your money. Education is NEVER a waste of time. College isn't all about lectures and tests. In fact, it is about thinking for yourself, which i believe very few people actually do! It is rather sad. most of my assignments are research-based, which is amazing because I am the one doing the research. Follow your heart.

do you wanna travel? if so you could be a foreign exchange student. thats my plan. in my junior year im gonna go study philosophy and history in Ireland or England. the school i wanna go to will also pay for a week vacation anywhere in europe each semester. thats really all i wanna do in life. travel and see the world and other cultures. and for me, this is a ticket to get started. the degree, higher pay later in life, better drug hookups, and new friends are all just good bonuses for me

If you can pay for it, University will only help you. It certainly won't hurt you.

traveling is what i want to do but id like to do many other things while doing it. i want to part of the group that goes to the amazon and test the river for nitrates and phosphates and go to tropical rainforests and learn how the runoffs protect the water so well it mostly is as good as distilled water. ya know something like that. college seems overwhelming and to tidious with assignments due and papers to write. id rather learn everything hands on

i find it amazing that someone with such high aspirations doesnt want to go to college. things like that you simply cant learn on your own. you dont really know what college is if thats how you think about it. college is being on your own and figuring out what you need to do so that you can make it in this world in way that you want. sounds like youve already figured out what you want to do, and thats awesome, but you havent realized what you need to do in order to do what you want to do.

I have no idea what I want to do. I wanna save some money and buy a van and move out to california and live free, skate, surf, fish for a while. Then get a job and pay rent for a place, then do education and comm college andsuch.

Leave the town or country for how ever long. Maybe come back and do college if need be.

I just dont want to make any plans for my life that i might regret down the road.

I am currently a senoir and plan to graduate in May. A few of my friends who are a year older than me went to college mainly to party. One of them failed all his classes and had to drop out before second semester. I thought this was rather foolish.

I believe after HS a person must take a break to enjoy the new found freedom that was not accsessable in High School. I'm going to a bunch of music festivals this summer, possibly going to Amsterdam. After this year, I will enroll in a art college for a few years. Depending on the type of college I would enjoy to take taking the ROTC program would be awesome to hop right into the Air Force right after college. Of course, this isn't my main objective.

A council has been formed in Englewood, Co known as the Garden. The Garden is the name of the commune that we plan to create in Alaska. In the Garden each person who enters must have a worthy skill that will be contributed to the community for a positive mannor. Food and livestock will be grown within the Garden and trade will occur with other neighboring towns.

The reason for the Garden is to show the American government their flaws aswell as to provide a pristine example of how a government should be run. Its hard to change things from the inside so thats why.

Of course, money is our main concern thats why each member has to go on their own career path to gather a job and money and come back to create the Garden.

Thats what I'm doing with my life.
