"A chapter 13 bankruptcy is also called a wage earner's plan. It enables individuals with regular income to develop a plan to repay all or part of their debts. Under this chapter, debtors propose a repayment plan to make installments to creditors over three to five years."
I have many things in my life for which I am most thankful. As far as health goes, I use a spray on some plaque psoriasis and as far as my insides go I take a pill for high cholesterol. At 60, I have few body ailments. I need to knock off sixty pounds (one for every year of life). It sounds insurmountable at times. Let's do the math and see how we can make it sound better:
60 pounds / 52 weeks = 1.154 pounds per week
60 pounds / 365 days = 0.164 pound per day (2.63 ounces per day)
It is also about 28% of my current body weight.
Imagine thinking that you want to get rid of more than ΒΌ of your body.
I have tried the Weight Watcher method of portion control and I have tried the Atkins diet. This year I think I might plunge into vegetarianism. I had done it before when I was in my 30s. It requires meal preparation and it requires buying food in advance. And it requires sticking to a plan.
Did you notice how I went from filing for bankruptcy to losing weight? I can't imagine thinking about giving my life over to someone who will help me pay my bills for the next 5 to 6 years. I sometimes dread the choices that I have made.
