Just Now.

I just had these series of texts with my legal guardian Eric:

Text from Eric January 19, 2026 2:09 AM PM:
"Please plan on being on time for your February 2 at 4:00 appointment with [my family physician, who I was late to recently as I have been late, possibly due to the beginning of mobility issues]"

Text to Eric January 19, 2026 8:33 PM:
"How do you know about my appointment with [my family physician]? And what are you talking about?"

Reply from Eric, ditto:
"They called me to assist you getting there. You do it."

Text to Eric January 20, 2026 2:07 AM:
"No, no, no one ever calls me to assist me get anywhere ever. I drive always and I live independently always. And I'm going to tell people that now in my complaints. First you people damage me permanently. And now your back to your threats again of taking away my car and now taking away my independence.

Tell them that I told you that and that they better not say anything like that ever again. I find that outrageous. First you all damage me and then that's your attitude. "

Text to Eric January 20, 2026 2:18 AM:
"I'm going to call [my family physician's] office tomorrow to and telling them. That they're saying things like that, talk about you becoming my chauffeur again. I consider that a threat of taking away my car again. I'm going to start telling people that starting now and filing reports. And I want you to stop talking to people about that now. And don't want to hear that again. EVER."

EDIT: Text to Eric just now:

"This is a troubling new development in all of this, I am going to start telling people and filing complaints. And I want it to stop NOW. All talks about that and telling me that.

And I don't care what excuses you tell me now that's not what you meant. That is what you meant, and I am going to start doing that above now. I DRIVE AND LIVE INDEPENDENTLY. **ALWAYS**."

EDIT: So now this new thing, which I guess I'll call the chauffeur thing, is obviously a new form of abuse. Involving the car again. All right, if people tell me it is not deliberate. This is not a deliberate form of abuse and there never was deliberate abuse. Even if those were the case, it still is abuse. Because it's ridiculous. If I had to wait for Eric to take me to my doctors' appointments I'd be more late not less late. That's always been true of when I wait for people to take me somewhere. It's probably true of everyone, I guess. So they couldn't be serious when they say that. And yet they do. And it involves the car threat again. A clever threat, for over twenty years now, but a terrible one. One involving the worst thing that could possibly happen to me. Something that would take away my independence and medical consent, my life as I know it now, my life as I know it now in every way. A clever violent threat involving me being robbed or shot walking places and waiting for buses. And now a threat that involves my being able to tell the outside world. And they're back to it again. All while no one does anything, and I am powerless to do anything.
Why isn't something being done by now? Why aren't people being held accountable by now? And why do new things like this then suddenly begin?
