More On My Personal Views.

I like most Americans support assisted suicide. It's a personal choice and government and society have no business getting involved in it. But most people, including me, make a clear distinction between assisted suicide and euthanasia. For example all of Jack Kevorkian patients died of assisted suicide, and he was never convicted of any of those deaths. Except his last patient, Thomas Youk. Who was a quadriplegic and who he helped die in 1998. But that last one is more a legal question than a moral one about assisted suicide. I would argue, and I think most would agree. Euthanasia usually means involuntary euthanasia. Like the Nazis sometimes did, for example. But that last case was obviously just another example of assisted suicide. Regardless of who ultimately pushed the switch.
