More On My Uncle.

And there were more stories involving my Uncle Al. I'll just stick to the facts as I observed them as usual. Like I said, he'd put his wife up to fighting his arguments and battles. And then he'd just watch as that happened. But I do realize now that they were trying to reign in his behavior. My father also once confided in me that my aunt was afraid of him too. But he was trying to appeal to her feeling sorry for him sometimes. He told us this story. He was in the kitchen with his mother and she heard a rumble in his stomach. And she thought he might need a colonic cleansing of his intestines. The story told that way didn't make any sense, especially the way he kept repeating it and dwelling on the fact he was in his house. Finally his wife told him enough already. You were in a house once, with a family. (He actually was taken to a mental institution at age four. And he obviously was trying to make us think he had a normal childhood. He also was a in a one-room school house once, only getting a four grade education ultimately. And he was an altar boy once. Though my mother once pointed out he received things like his first holy communion in the institution. Also, he won a spelling bee once and got a dictionary as the prize. He was very proud that too and held onto it.) Also at one point he was threatening suicide in private with his wife obviously. He just started lamenting or waxing philosophical at the table at the restaurant times in his life when he wished he just died. And after a while she started looking over at him with a lot of worry. Like I said, he was very desperate that he wasn't getting his way with going out Sundays with me. I could tell, he couldn't stand doing it another Sunday and was getting very desperate. And he had to do that for ten years. Also at one point he obviously threatened her in private with violence. He was already very angry with me, and obviously arguing with her a lot in private. But one Sunday very suddenly she started acting like she was afraid of him. And like she dared not criticize him or tell him what to do. For example, he kept going up the desert bar for more sundaes or cake. And she told him no more than one more helping. But one Sunday she was more afraid than concerned about him, which was very odd. And she kept adding "unless you want to..." to what she said. Also speaking of Sundaes, he had another thing going with her. I don't know all the details but I just heard her say to him once that she was sorry if he didn't think he deserved it this time. He also often rewarded himself with deserts. Often when he gained some advantage against me, I remember noticing.
Well, there's much more. But he was a very evil, selfish person. And he never should have been given access to a child like that. I remember thinking at the time that if he was married to her without children everything would be fine. Because he was law-abiding otherwise. As I said, he prided himself on his reputation. He never should have been given access to a child, and someone should have been carefully watching him. And yet no one did. He wasn't even on anyone's radar screen. And yet I was, even though I am a very good person and never break the law. I just live by myself, I favor being alone. And people couldn't even let me have that. Or all the crime that there is in my city, and all abuse too. Like I said, I heard screams and horrible sounds of abuse and saw things next door to my house for years. That lady was doing horrible things like that. And she was a foster parent once. Someone should have noticed something. But they were focused on me instead. Like I said, I am going spend the rest of my life making sure that's looked into. There might be a lot years left in me despite what they did to me.
