P.O.ed with COSTCO

So today I drive up to the gas station at COSTCO. It's always jammed with lines. When I finally get to the pump the machine spits out a ticket saying that my card has expired and that I'd need to renew it in the store. No notices. No ability to pay at the pump. I loose my space.
So I ask someone at the pump next to me if he would swipe his card for me and he says flat out NO.
So now I'm thinking to heck with this store. The savings aren't all that great all the time and what do I need to buy in bulk anyway.
Ugh
