Those pictures don't look like real dreads imo.
Dreads look fine in a hard rock band.
T-Gel seems to be leaving some residue in my dreads. Not much, but it's sticky and bleh. Going to try diluting it a ton.

Definitely wait for the bleaching. I made that mistake a month ago, and I'm not even 3 months along, and it definitely hurt my dreads. :/

Shampoo as normally but use residue free shampoo only.
I do agree that back combing is anti-progression, but I wouldn't agree that it takes that incredibly long to fall out. At most, mine took 3 weeks...
