hmm..I wonder is it's your penis that draws the attention or the stunning conversation

 

I've been to both mixed sex and same sex saunas. I and the others wore a towel in the mixed one but I was naked in the same sex saunas.

 

I have no delusions that it is the size of my penis that draws attention by both men and women but I am really proud of it and would't want it any other way.

 

Sauna is not a sexual place, everyone are naked regardless the gender!

 

If it's a sauna in the grounds of a nudist club or business that caters for nudists, it will no doubt be mixed-sex and nude, not clothing optional. I follow the rules for what is specified whereever I go, sometimes with a towel, but more often naked. Nothing is improved really by wearing a towel — I hate that, but do sit or lie on a towel.

 

When I get my own place, I'm planning to build my own sauna so I don't have to bother with towels. That way, I can also use it to introduce nudism to my friends!

 

Been to long ago last time I went to a sauna, Have one planned in a view weeks, over here in Holland you really have nice big ones with loads of different facilities and yes it is mixed and never seen anything akward

 

The saunas I go to are separated male/female. In the men's it is rare to see anyone in the sauna. I use it whenever I am there and have never had anyone there with me.

 

The people who owned my place before I did installed both an outdoor hot tub and sauna. The sauna can easily hold at least 12 people. Really good size. I use it all the time and always go nude.

 

never had a problem, any sauna i have been in have been ok to be nude, a few wear a towel but not many, i prefer to be nude

 

My mom used to b quite big into the whole nudism lifestyle, so she would often take my sister and myself with when she went to a resort, a lot of them had saunas, so we would accompany her to them, it was always a very relaxed setting, although when I was a teenager sometimes my body would get the better of me, lol. Luckily I kept a towel close by so i could cover up quick, which always made my mom and sis smile, knowing what was going on...lol

 

It's a mystery to me why in Scandinavia, Holland and Germany Saunas are routinely used nude as they are intended yet in the UK unless you specifically go to a naturist spa or single sex environment nudity is not permitted. I far prefer to be nude and personally have no problems sharing space with those who do not wish to be nude themselves as long as they accept those of us who find nudity more comfortable. After all on clothing optional beaches we accept each other as we find ourselves so why shouldn't saunas, steamrooms and even swimming pools be clothing optional some of the time.

 

Actually in Scandanavia they dont do mixed only with their partners, in Holland, Belgium German it all mixed and nude, and we find it strange that people want to wear a swim suit. though once a once you have ladies day and swimsuit day. I far prefer nude

 

A sauna without clothes is much more comfortable. There are not many in the UK where you can sauna nude, so my visits to the continent are always appreciated for the chance to have a naked sauna.

 

Sauna in the condo I stayed in in Florida had a sign on the door no nudity and no water over the rocks.Rules didn't seem to apply when I would use it after midnight.

 

I used to live in IRL nldn and same applies overthere as in UK any time I would be in Holland I would go to the sauna

 

I prefer to be nude at a sauna, unfortunately the UK is a bit prudish like that. But Germany is wonderful, so much more liberating. I have never been pestered, but sometimes guys study a bit too obviously; I shouldn't complain, it can be nice looking at all the different willys!

 

Always nude in the Sauna. Unless custom suggests a towel for the 'Naughty Bits'. I once did a ceremonial sweat with some Tribal Elders, and we all wore these little loincloth covers that basically covered excremental parts.

One time I was in a Sauna with about 12 or so folks at a commune I used to live at. We were split equally gender wise, and the ages ran from 10 to mid 50's. We were all nude. Then one of the members whose mother was visiting entered the sauna with her 70+ year old Mom. The Member(female) dropped her towel the minute she passed the doorframe - you could see the look of shock on her Mothers face, especially when her eyes adjusted to the dim light and she realised that she was in a room with a dozen or so uncovered cocks and coochies of various age. Mom kept her towel wrapped around her, and left the sweat after one good sesh.
Later that evening - the commune member who's Mother it was told me that her Mom just couldn't understand how all those Men and Boys could be in a room with all those naked Women and Girls and not show arousal. It's sad how some folks just can't separate nudity and sexuality.
