I've never said I had Eastern European roots, but I have travelled fairly extensively in former Eastern European countries (before the East German wall came down.

And incidentally I deliberately chose not to capitalise 'british' !!!

 

I think you did - anyway, let's say you didn't have roots there - why would you travel extensively in former Eastern European countries? - and return before the wall came down?
Are you secretly 'The man from U.N.C.L.E.'?
