To answer your question, imagine if you lived in say... South Africa. And like most people, you were black. You went to a university or a well paid employer.

And found virtually everyone was white. And they would spend all day telling you how white people were so much better etc. Now imagine they used words like "niggers" and "gollywogs" to describe black applicants and would generate stereotypes of speech and behaviour to perpetuate their claims.

Now imagine these white people were actually useless at the job, and much better black applicants were turned away in their thousands. While white applicants kept getting all the posts, because their family worked at the uni/company. Or because they wrote out a cheque. Imagine if this extended into politics, business, the judiciciary, nearly all aspects of life.
Apart from say sport, music and stuff.

Your best way round it might be to emigrate, or just work with foreigners or something.

There'd probably be international condemnation. Yes? Well this is basically how the so called upper class of Britain operates. Many people dont know it, because they never cross paths with them.

Why do you assume that? It depends on the rebels of course, there are different factions with different motives. Some are definitely better than a leader of state that (ordered to) shoot people at a peaceful demonstration. That's where he already lost any sympathy from me. Where it comes to media and writing and sharing what we want you can't possibly be serious that russians are better off than west european countries.

 

The problem most people in the West have with the Russian press isnt how it operates. Its how the Russian press states an unpalatable truth.

The Russian press calls out the warmongers, neo-Imperialist and troublemakers like Bush, Cameron and Obama etc for what they are. They expose the injustices that the Club in Britain and America etc all want to paint over. And they point out when (cough) "harmless" people like Merkel are causing coups in democratic states to have Nazis take over.

I'd love to know what else people base their assessment of the Russian press on.
Especially when they can't read more than 5 letters of Cyrillics.

The British press is either run by old Etonians etc, or slime like Murdoch. The level of spin,or outright bullshit is so ridiculous, finding the truth is beyond many people. Just look how scandals like Iraq, Hillsborough and Savile were buried in spin often for decades.

Britain's so called privacy laws and libel laws are about the most draconian in the World. Thats how Savile and others escaped. Have a story on the "Club" and it wont get printed, end of story. Challenge a gagging order, and guess what? The judge will be an old schoolfriend of the person you want to expose.

Example.Our Foreign Secretary regularly yaps on about "family values". Guess what? He is a complete homosexual who was told to enter a sham marriage by his bosses. Loads of people in politics know this. I know it from xxx. Will this ever be written about in the press? Will it fuck!
