oh the joys of grit weed, we get a lot of that shit around here, shame too cus most of the weed its in would be really nice quality without it

 

have you ever smoked any before? I've heard that if you smoke out of a bong or bubbler it won't do anything because the glass gets trapped in the water, but that may be B.S

Gritweed was mostly a UK thing but I think it has recently found its way into the east coast of the U.S... hope it never reaches my area

 

Wow. Gritweed sounds kinda scary. Yeah, it seems like if you smoked it out of a bubbler, it'd be ok, because all you get is the smoke, correct? 'Cause it seems like the glass would just float/sink (Glass sinks doesn't it?) and you wouldn't get it.

Who all threads their weed with glass? And why???

 

If ground very finely, glass is hard to detect just by looking. the reason people might do it is because it adds weight to the bag as well as making the buds look more potent, since it just looks like a ton of crystals.
However, an experianced smoker should be able to tell the difference.

To be safe, every time I buy a bag I always take a little pice of the bud and put it in my mouth and chew it. If you feel any sort of grit/sand on your teeth, it's probably gritweed. never had any and don't know anyone that has, but better safe than sorry

yeah thats bullshit, its generally the cheapest glass and why would it get trapped in the water, its on the weed, the gauze stops it. It just burns and rips the fuck out of your throat. Generally most "50 bags" are grit skunk and sold at 50 an 8th, which when you weigh it out tends to be around the 3.0 to 3.3 mark.

So basically your paying the equivalent of 64$ for 3.2 grams of grit skunk. About 85% of weed thats sold in towns and cities is 50 bags. Of course not all of them are cut but a hell of a lot are. The deeper you go into the countryside though the better quality and cheaper it gets, usually around 7 - 10 a gram for excellent quality blond pollen or leafy homegrown, i prefer both of them over skunk anyway. A lot of grit weed and soapbar is brought in from england and europe but the good stuff is there if you know where to look

 

Man thats a bunch of bullshit, if you handled the weed.. and it had small peices of glass on it, wouldnt you be wondering why your finger tips are getting all irritated? Well, maybe not, if you're stupid enough to buy marijuana with glass in it, then maybe you wouldnt notice fine grains of sand/glass rubbing into your fingers, you'd just be like.. "damn, this is some good weed even my fingers are getting high"

 

you dont notice it by feeling it and unless your taking a close look at the bud your probably not going to notice too easily, if its a bright place then the buds will glint a bit suspiciously though. The worst iv ever seen was skunk with thin sheets of glass going through it. plainly obvious to any retard.

It can't honestly add that much weight to make it worth it. And what do they do when you want to smoke one with them to show gratitude or something?

 

Well they're not the ones cutting it down, they just buy in bulk from big indoor crops that get sprayed with it so its not on thier head when they sell it and people here just accept that, that just seems to be the way things are. I just avoid buying anything in town.
Glass is pretty heavy too when your working in big numbers. Adding glass to an ounce wouldnt make too much a difference but when your adding it to a few pounds then your definitely going to see a weight difference

 

Oh, yeah. I guess that's true. I'm not sure, why exactly would indoor growers spray with it?

 

just spray the plants just before harvest or when drying with tiny particles of glass or fiberglass or anything else that fits, adds enough weight in bulk to make more money
