    It is possible that Guntherberg might have been a Nazi war criminal who fled Germany in 1945 to escape imprisonment by the Allies and settled in Argentina, as many other Nazis did, like Adolf Eichmann. And contracting alzheimers in 2015, along with Mossad officially abandoning their policy of pursuing Nazi war criminals in 2016, might have loosened up the self-restraint or survival instincts a bit.

    Those that fled, fled because they knew what they were doing had done was wrong but still believed in the nazi/hitler hatred. Germans that stayed to rebuild had nothing to hide or run from.
