That game was just given to the Saints, total bullshit calls in overtime. Looking forward to the Colts ripping them a new one. Funny thing is that I was kind of rooting for the Saints untill the overtime gifts from the refs, they did not deserve to win and do not deserve the trip to Miami.
Get real the game never should have gone into OT to begin with if BF hadn’t made the dumbest play all season by throwing an interception with just 13 seconds on the clock and 1 timeout left. A one-legged man could have picked up ten yards giving their kicker an opportunity Hotwater
I dont know I fell asleep after halftime and woke up for the highlights. But the pass interference call was bullshit, the guy tripped over his own feet.
I agree it was a bullshit call, but the vikings didn’t deserve to win given how many times they coughed up the ball. Hotwater
Yes I was not impressed with either team, but being from Buffalo and still bitter over a bad call in a certain hockey game about 11 years ago I hate to see games decided on bullshit calls. But such is the way of sports, life goes on.
That's pretty much what Favre was, by that time. I think it's amazing that he was able to stay in the game. The old man can still take a pounding.
Minnesota made a lot of mistakes......A LOT of mistakes. But seeing how they threw 2 interceptions, fumbled the ball like 5 times, 3 of which were turnovers, and had a lot of missed opportunities, the fact that it was a tie game even after all of that says that they are the better team, even when they decide to self-destruct. I agree hotwater, they fucked up a lot, but like yellowcab said, it's really discouraging to see a game decided by back to back bullshit calls from the officials.
NOBODAYYYY hahaaa... man why does everyone hate the saints so bad? not like they've ever done anything to you..except maybe beat your team go saints
Because the better team lost, and when Indy gets a chance they’re going to carve up the saints’ defense like a roast Hotwater
Having followed New England since the early 80's when an 8-8 season was considered successful I wish I could endorse this but from where I sit they simply have too many holes to fill and too much of what they did this year relied on a handful of players and aging defensive personnel. They need to protect Brady as well as continue building a defense... ditching Moss might help matters as he doesn't seem to be the key to winning. The Jets showed me the likely heir apparent to the next AFC east championship or two- or three... depending of course on how Miami does in the off season... with Parcells "getting the groceries" it may be premature to dismiss them as well- At best I see New England finishing third in their division next year as things are now... with an 8-8 or 7-9 record- unless they pull off some magic via the draft, trades, or picking up a key piece to their puzzle that another team has released.
Anybody who has been watching the Saints knows it's inevitable. My god, they lost to tampa bay, and atlanta nearly beat them as well. Let me just say that one more time. tampa bay
Vikings played like absolute SHIT!! i cannot believe it.. they beat themselves.. plain and simple.. if i was Favre i would be PISSED.. you gotta be kidding me.. 5 fucking fumbles... the interceptions came from pure aggravation... Favre busted his ass on that field and no one fucking helped his ass out.. just made his day tougher PS: if the Saints win the super bowl.. its by pure fluke.. they should have been down by at least 2 touchdowns in the vikings game had we been able to hold the ball
