I just thought, we've mentioned the boom in babies from everyone being stuck at home together.. But on the other hand there will be no unplanned accidental one night stand babies. I guess there won't be so many new relationships starting up in general. No ones going to be kissing strangers.

GameStop is shutting down its stores in California, Kotaku has learned. This news comes one day after the struggling retailer told all of its U.S. employees to ignore state lockdown measures in the wake of the covid-19 pandemic, insisting that it was an “essential retail” business.

Two California GameStop employees told Kotaku that they’ve been told to use personal time or file for unemployment, as they will not be paid while stores are shut down.

So far, my boss is saying we'll open as usual, at least to see how it is. Providing they don't bring in a stricter directive. I'm relieved.

Kentucky's bourbon distillers have started producing hand sanitizer. So now there will be a bourbon shortage—stock up now!

Um yeah. People have been eating sushi for centuries. Then again sushi is the rice. I can lay fully cooked unagi or tamago over rice and it is still sushi. I think what you're worried about is raw fish... ie sashimi. Which is totally safe. Shoot bruh chicken sashimi is a thing

Raw chicken is dangerous in my experience. A few years back I went to an AA picnic. Tubs of raw chicken were drenched in BBQ sauce and placed on gas grills. Big flames and the chicken was charred black. The cooks thought it was done and dished it out. Of course the surfaced was black but the interior was raw. Multiple salmonella cases from that mistake......not me tho,I discarded my chicken at the first slice of the first piece.

What they should have done was to wrap the chicken in tinfoil, and let it sit in the coals for at least one hour.

Really just comes down to standards. Here in the USA raw chicken/eggs is a gamble, but in Japan raw eggs are commonplace. Chicken sashimi is a novelty but still... Japan's standards for raising chickens is just higher than ours. So, raw poultry is safe(r) than here. As a chef I work with raw chicken quite a bit and live on a steady diet of anti bacterial soap and hand sanitizer... even before coronavirus hype

Not exactly, limit of 500 people at a time so it doesn't look bad on twitter

    I'm so negative

  17. It's to do with the rule they have.
People who go to big gatherings are going to get sick all because they choose to fuck around and not fucking listen to others.

  18. Look up salmonalla poisoning. You can see why it's dangerous

So you think the communist government controls the news media and the information getting out might be false. Cool. I don't necessarily disagree with that...

But literally since Barack Obama became a thing we've been listening to how fucked up socialism/communism is in regards to the free market and media, and now under the Trump regime, i cant find a loaf of bread while the president screams about fake news.

I mean, literally the people who bitch about the flaws of communism or socialism (let's be honest the definitions of both those words are very movable goal posts) are accepting those same flaws under capitalism without the slightest hint of irony.

I know not exactly what you're talking about but it still needs to be said. The perceived inadequacies of left wing socialism is what is failing us under right wing capitalism. Why does no one want to talk this?

I understand why it's dangerous. You're an umpire, right? The FDA is like America's food safety umpire. And their standards for a clean play are lower than other countries.

It would be like if you considered something a dirty and unacceptable play in your league and another umpire from a different league was like " nah, that play is good as long as you cook it to 165 degrees"

    I'm rambling...
