It's interesting that my dad started out very level headed (he is 74) believing it should run it's course, shutting down countries a worse idea.. And he still kind of believes that but he told me now he feels more nervous, because of the young people deaths. They really did make a point of highlighting that minority.

  2. Young people's future is, evidently, to be a seventy year-old thrown under the bus.

You mean you're not willing to sacrifice young people's present. In other words, the young should never be taught to sacrifice for anyone or anything.

Oh I don't know. Pretty extreme.
I don't think young people are being taught to sacrifice nothing if we don't shut down countries.

It's too late really to go back on it anyway. They can't say "oh we've realized this is too hard on the economy, we're going to go back to normal and let you all get it and some die" people would freak out.

Aside from money worries, is anyone else enjoying the free time? : )
In the world I would design, where people work 20 hours or so, and we all had more free time.. This is what it would be like. I'm loving the freedom to work in the garden and on the house. This is what life is meant to be like.

  8. In my opinion, "too hard on the economy" simply means "the fabulously wealthy won't be raking in billions." The economy makes zero sense, otherwise. It's an operation of fear and greed, and that's it. I'm the farthest thing from a billionaire, and somehow I'd be okay with a few weeks off. Businesses are filled to the brim with pussies, though. Gotta collect that cash to bolster the pussified ego. Harsh, maybe, but true. They're pussies.

It's not so much that China opened things back up too early ( there are domestic flights in and out of Wuhan now) . It's that they didnt really have a choice. Money buys food

I work in Mining. Which is classed as essential manufacturing. I'm yet to see a change and I hope I don't. The only difference I've seen so far is lack of toilet paper which has yet to effect us. And all the hysteria on the TV. Not to say I won't.

My Mrs is still under the weather. Her temperature today is 38.1 which is fever. Doctor said stay at home you have normal flu.

Looks like the rona has another victim. Up the sewerage pipes and in to the Dutch oven in the bedroom.

My Target store has a neat feature that makes shopping for groceries pretty snappy. You can drive-up for them to bring stuff to your car! :)

They have a special painted parking spot/lane in their parking structure that I'd seen before, but I guess it didn't seem like something I'd use before now.

The very best part is they aren't charging for it! :D

I doubt that everyone's Target has this, but they also offer grocery/shopping pick-up! Very cool store!

    Drive Up : Target
