Trying to fathom what makes ventilators so doggone expensive!

I thought "I know! I'll use my stimulus check to buy a dumb ventilator!" Nope. They can be pretty pricey...

But that aside... Which ventilator do you buy? :)

    EDIT: This one looks ok...

    It's about $2,770.50..

  3. I have to admire the left for tenacity. But repeating the same shit over and over has a limited shelf life. Even Alinsky knew this. So it's weird how so many of them think the "classics" will just, keep working. As if nobody else is able to figure it out.

It's like dealing with a teenager; if it's not part of their personal experience, it's just not true. I am yet to meet a 16 year old who doesn't think they have it all figured out. And that the rest of us are morons for not seeing it their way. That's my summation of today's left. Gone are the clever days. Now it's just rote hate mongering.

Relief package billions can't buy hospitals out of shortages reporting by PBS

    And there are no supplies.

I read something the other day that said, in fact, that somewhere in Asia where gloves are made, they are actually making fewer gloves right now for some reason. I don't remember if I posted it in here or not...

  6. Medical equipment is weird in the electronic age. So many companies have gone under even though they made a good product. And so many are still in business even though they make crap that breaks down a lot. And used medical equipment is like buying a used taxi. Nobody using them had any reason to treat them well.

Also, if you do buy one used, be sure to clean it really really well, while wearing a mask and a face shield. You just never know what might have been splashed or sprayed onto it while it was in the ER, OR or intensive care.

So now, do you have someone to sedate you and put the tube down your throat?

  10. Sounds reasonable. Good to see our economists have good heads on their shoulders.

  12. Ah, so that's not a conspiracy theory after all? And dude, seriously "President Fingerfuck". Can this be more childish?

Guess he couldn't find a high enough window to jump from. A depression is starting folks.

Here is the paper, doesn't really prove the virus has been around for decades, just postulates that's the most likely scenario out of three possibilities on how it evolved; before jumping to humans, after, both

Both most likely, and they are not really saying SARS 2 we know today has been around for decades, but it's precursor

    The proximal origin of SARS-CoV-2
