Never before seen virus, don't know what it's capable of.... But VG knows warmer weather will stop it's spread.

Having seen US courts up close and personal, I don't think much of them, either.

 

On the plus side public transportation has been more enjoyable lately. Trains and buses are practically deserted

 

Today I went to the grocery store (clad in latex mitts...) to find out their shelves are somewhat effected! They were out of the salad dressing I usually buy. The lady working produce went back to the stock area to see if there was any more, but everything was still on pallets. They will know more by 3.

Also, it's official: I'm allowed to stay home from school tomorrow per my instructors permissions. Pending approval by the department chair, I may be able to finish out the semester this way, which is a relief.

 

I went to the store yesterday and there was absolutely no sanitizer, disinfectant, or bleach anywhere... just an empty void in the shelves somewhere in between the dish soap and swiffer pads.

 

When I bought my sanitizer they had already begun to experience issues in stores and online. But I found a big bottle of it. I even called the pharmacy at that store prior to going so that I could enquire about their supply. He knew of no issues (the pharmacist). And I found some.

Heard the AFL could be forced to play games behind closed doors. Will be like a home match for some teams.

 

No I just noticed it when I walked down the aisle. I was actually there for those pod things for my dishwasher. I have some hand sanitizer, anti bacterial soap, and some bleach. I work with raw meat a lot so that's always on hand.

 

Social media posts from friends and family have been mind bending. This is not a joke and not the time for gallows humor...even some from at risk people. One of the neat things about our species is we are supposed to learn empathy and altruism as we mature....seems like there are lot of immature people running around picking up cues from the idiot fringe-gas masks in Congress anyone. Imagine of this disease really ha meted thirty-something males.

It's just as serious as anything else is.

 

Doctors are calling in sick with mild colds in Victoria.
Going to be a greater shortage of Dr’s soon.

 

Suicide is killing more people than this virus. How about we stock up on smiling at strangers instead of toilet paper??

 

More people would have drowned in a bathtub in the US than died of Coronavirus since the first case in January
