Really? It's the general right wing narrative. For example his inauguration attendance. It was so important that it was a sell out when it was not. They circulated the photo that mislead people and said it was fake when a wide shot came out. In 2016 he said if he did win the election was rigged. I'm sure even you will remember that. That kind of shows a pattern of thought like what I am talking about. He can not accept defeat.

Also his aids say he is still very obsessed with 2016 and Hillary. It's some politcal strategy he has delusions almost, a paranoia about them. They are alive and that is upsetting to him. It's how dictators think since these people are powerful figures that disagree with him. He was said to be especially upset at this story.

The reason he respects North Korea and Putin is the politcal climate. As a narcissistic sociopath he's drawn to that level of respect. It's easy for him to believe he is entitled to it and that he really does have it. People who say he does not are jealous liars.

Trump himself has "joked" of course as are all his badly taken comments that we will not have an election in 2020. His more NRA type followers share meme's and discus the topic of the coming civil war. The belief is that if given long enough the deep state can "beat" Trump in an election. So it's important now to now allow close elections. Through close elections the public's opinion is manipulated. Too much choice and free speech means people will lie. So it's best to just take control with the strong leader who shares your values.

This a Fascist ideal but it is not a common alt-right one. These people are not discussing how to register the high school kids to their party. They are saying those Socialists are lost and stocking up on ammo. If push came to shove Fox news is going to support the milita who gets into a standoff with the FBI more than a Sanders or Warren type person. In that case for the few days after the elction they would probably not outright say Trump had lost. They would say recounts are not in and it's a "witch hunt". In a way they would be just like the militia.

If you deny that you are denying reality. The people who at this point support Trump will not be able to accept his defeat. Some will just piss and moan others will kill people. Trump himself will not speak against this. He will go along for the ride since it's his view too.

No, it's rooted in actual research and evidence. It's not a buzz word. These people are fundamentally unable to accept reality for what it is and instead place all their thinking and values though someone else. It's quite similar to Hitler or other powerful figures. A whole sect of people willing to show their fear and racism all for one guy.
