  1. Right now you would be dealing with a lot of hearsay rubbish.
Don't believe anything until all the candidates have been picked.
    Then wait until the election.

Apparently you have no idea how journalism works.

Yeah, no. Professional journalists are held accountable. The industry is regulated. They have ethics. Are they perfect? No. They're human. Sometimes they mess up. And when they do? They have to come out with a retraction. I'll trust the mainstream media over some YouTube conspiracy theorist anyday.

  4. Affidavits are facts about a person.
    They can be denied.

For example a fact might be of yours - you have 3 grandkids.
You put that in your affidavit.
Some idiot might deny it in the defence.
It happens in civil cases mate.

Wrong we have first hand accounts and hard evidence in the form of emails, texts, and phone records.
But again hearsay evidence is admissible in court.

  6. Listen to yourself there mate.
    Why don't i believe everything i read?

    Simply because i'm not gullible.

A journo could come up with something false. Reports on that and then finds themselves on defamation charges after they have papers served on them.

look up the definition of defamation.

For example the rumours going around about hilliary clinton and her emails were found to be defamatory statements.
    There were articles about this.
It goes against those journos creditbility.

Affidavits are sworn statements of any type of fact, not just personal information.
So what if someone denies them?

So how do you know defamatory statements were made? You saw it in articles? I thought articles were written by...shutter...journalists?

You make the statement that no journalists tell the truth yet you believe journalists when they tell you another journalists is not telling the truth.

  9. On the issue of the election, Whittle thinks a Gabbard/Buttigeig ticket is the best chance democrats have against Trump.

Gabbard lost me after the last debate. I was hoping for a Yang/Gabbard ticket (unlikely af but still) but she is clearly a Republican in Democrats clothing. Nothing against Republicans and their supporters. But it's not an ideology I can see eye to eye with anymore

  11. Clinton emails - what's it all about?

I looked up the email scandal.
I knew that this whole thing was bullshit from the word go.

Here is another one i didn't believe.

Everything you wanted to know about the unverified Trump "pee tape" claim but were too embarrassed to ask

  12. I did too, but I realize now that most are hacked and pasted together by reporters. This business with Trump's being in Afghanistan instead of playing golf got a reporter fired. Because she didn't do her actual job but instead relied on the published itinerary. Sloppy work AND she slathered it with snark as well.

    Funny stuff.

  13. Not at all, she's just a conservative democrat. It has only been in recent years that being a liberal or a conservative was branded to each party. It used to be that we had Liberal Republicans as well.

She's also seen what a farce our defense department can be. So I'm inclined to think she's running because she wants to straighten that out as well. I'd wager it's a priority for her.

I ain't mad at that. In fact her and Pete are the 2 I respect the most when it comes to defense and foreign policy (because they're veterans) but still...And, fair point. Liberal/conservative doesn't = Democrats/republican. But the parties have entrenched themselves along those lines. I'd vote for a liberal Republican all day. I did a paper on Ron Paul back in school. I thought he was amazing. I see Yang and Gabbard as moderates which is the appeal for me. Liberal without being too far left

    To which I must reply:
This would be like Palin and McCain. While the media tries to make it look like Palin was a liability, the truth is that McCain was the liability, just like Romney was. Both of those boys were diehard RINOs and couldn't be trusted to obey our Constitution.

In similar fashion, I'm going on the record saying that Buttigeig is the liability here. While mainstream dems will portray otherwise, I think Gabbard has a better chance without an albatross like Buttigeig. Gabbard, on the other hand, represents what the dems once were, and anyone that does that scares the crap out of modern leftists of all stripes.

Ultimately, the dems either can't grasp that their dive to the hard left is costing them votes, or they just don't care.

Try as you may, selling Gabbard to the Democrats is like trying to sell ice cream to Eskimos. So far, she's at 2% in the polls. Unless those Russian trolls and bots really come through this time, she has an uphill battle. "What the dems were once"..horsefeathers!
