    I would have to agree. I hope they drag it out forever, because the Senate shouldn't get away with just throwing it out. Or using it to try and indict Joe Biden!

    He was the reason I became a registered voter in the first place. Much later than the legal age. He would've been 200x better than Trump.

    Mayor Frank Hague of Jersey City was crooked also. The citizens looked to the larger picture of city management and continued to re-elect Mayor Hague.

    This new puritanism in our electorate is a mercenary mask that will be dropped once a candidate of their own is elected to office.

    And there's the center of the problem. In all of this time Americans are STILL looking for someone they can relate to. For the most part, that will never happen. Because American politics is owned by the culture of wealth and privilege (in all colors). We don't have commoners in Washington. Mr. Smith was a fantasy (though I liked Born Yesterday better).

    Thanks for the backstory.

    It doesn’t seem wise of his campaign to use such an outdated, regional word that hasn’t been used in almost a century. Saying malarkey today, would be like saying “keen” rather than “cool”

    If the Biden campaign has to have the definition of the word adhered to the side of his bus, that’s how we know that slogan won’t resonate with very many people
