Bleh.. that would be horrible. Go with the celeb because the people are too dumb to choose on policies and actual content (not saying Michelle lacks content)

So anyway, i only recently heard how Buttigiegs name is pronounced. I'm happy for him its different than i assumed (which was something like butt-y geek).

Is his name considered normal over there? Or just as prone to jokes as i assumed?

The fact of the matter is that "consistently" is up in the air as far as I know. I've heard that about polls but I don't know if that's true yet.

It could be that African-American voters just don't like Pete, and it might be because he's gay, but I think that is a bad reason and suspect that most black voters understand that it's not a solid reason too. I only suspect though; nothing concrete.

I don't know if it has to do with Pete's law enforcement record, but I hadn't heard anything about that, so again I'd be guessing.

It probably will change because of Iowa, but I still hope Bernie will have good outcomes in Nevada, New Hampshire etc. (I don't remember the states or their orders).

So all in all I gather that Pete is a pretty good candidate, but like I said before he's doing something I don't like on his website. He's saying that he'll do something and not explaining how he'll do it with regard to new green jobs.

I have no idea what hat democrat (or any) candidates plan to pull green jobs out of. And that's just me being honest because I don't think I'm pessimistic about it. I just don't know.

Yeah, I don't understand why people want her to run. Bloomberg has already entered late and threw a monkey wrench into the proceedings. It was bad enough when Biden entered. Nothing against Michelle, but her jumping into the race because she's Michelle Obama doesn't make much sense to me.

I'm expecting a Buttigieg-Klobuchar ticket! (Trump should have fun with that!)

Another reason he doesn't do well with African-Americans is that Biden does. They like Joe. But in order to get to him, we have to get through the great white gamut of Iowa and New Hampshire.

True, but I think she would carry states like Michigan, and Ohio.

    Not a certainty at all.

If that is the whole plan or main goal why can't it be one of the already running candidates? Why would she make the difference? Are a lot of doubting folks or people who don't plan on voting at all going to change their mind if it's the wife of the former president?

Everyone loved Bill Clinton was sure Hilary would coast to victory on her association as his wife. It didn't happen. I'm not convinced Michelle could win for simply being Mrs. Obama.

Hillary is/was not popular. People didn't like her personality. Michelle was a popular First Lady who would attract the liberal vote, moderate vote, and minority vote. Granted whites would vote in mass against her, but they did that with her husband, and he still won.
