  1. Soul, it's a vehicle for entry. I happen to like your opinion most of the time, you have a unique perspective. I only wish you could shower your knowledge onto a bigger crowd.

At least go see Bernie. You never know who you might influence.

Most politicians and their campaign organizations are really friendly in an election year! When WP is encouraging you to go to a Democrat event, you know something's up. And it's not good for Democrats!

That describes every politician ever, both right and left.

I tried contacting Senator Rand Paul a few month ago to let him know how I felt about his lack of support for the 9/11 first responders bill that was up for a vote in Congress. As a registered KY voter all I expected was a form letter sent to me by his staff; that's what I've gotten from past congressman. Instead I got...absolutely nothing. And the next time he runs for reelection that's what he shall get from me.

I sent Senator Graham a fax through the resist bot a couple of months ago (it's a texting service that makes it super easy to contact your representatives) basically calling him a coward and he sent me a standard form letter back the other day lol.

But I've written Tim Scott before a couple of times and he will write back with a unique message that actually references what you said to him everytime. I dont like his policies but I respect him for that

I would do that, but I don't have much of a voice for it.

You may recall me stating that I have the same problem as Joe Biden with stammering and pausing for any reason whatsoever. Well that's no lie! I really do have that problem, and it really hurts the message of the campaign for me to be the one trying to convey that "Oh... that socialism thing? That's called democratic socialism" or whatever because there's bound to be a gap while I hunt for the right words, try to remember something, or look something I don't know up on my phone. :D

No, that's not for me. But they were thoughtful to think of me.

You can just go see him speak, soul. You dont have to speak on behalf of him. I definitely couldnt. I've thought about canvassing before, I came thisclose once, but..it is not for me. I have a lot of respect for people who can get out there and canvass, for any campaign

Speaking of seeing him speak, he did a rally in Washington last night and 17,000 people were in attendance, holy shit!

my state rep only has 400 friends on twitter. It easy enough to go to his page and blast him. Its not actually worth anything, he has no powers.. Senator Wayne D. Fontana office is just around the corner.. Oh no its you again, what do you want this time?..

I wrote senator Jeff Merkley an e-mail once, asking him to support an Audit the Fed bill that was sponsored by Bernie Sanders and Ron Paul. I got a generic thank you response back from him (his staff) in a letter that was barely a paragraph long, and ever since then he kept flooding my inbox with his own political updates and family photos. I had to mark all his stuff as spam because it was annoying. That and his eyebrows give me the creeps

I think their intention was asking me to be part of the campaign, as they would ask literally anyone...

I would see him speak; he spoke in 2015 or something at my school. But I don't know...

You may recall I have been living with schizophrenia. While it's not that bad, one thing I'm pretty paranoid about is public crowds. You can imagine the time of it I have trying to attend raves and clubs; I typically leave the second someone bumps into me! I exaggerate, but seriously: I'm afraid someone will shoot us all! :-S

You’ll be fine. Just don’t wear anything that might trigger a leftist, and you won’t get shot at by a Bernie Bro.

The guy who was wearing the Black Guns Matter shirt was black. The Bernie supporter who jumped him was white. Just FYI

that's called a "token" fallacy. It's where the exception becomes the rule - in like every discipline ever, lol.

I don't fear that happening. It's the whole mass shooting thing that has me wondering how well trained the security actually is.

Supposedly I'm fairly mentally sound and I still have the same fears in large crowds so I dont blame you

It seems that Bernie lacks proper security as his own supporters have rushed his stage more than once.

    thanks.

It's not only that I don't feel safe - I'm lazy too. But I think traveling out of state actually might be kind of fun. I've never been to a political rally myself. You?
